Karl is an exceptional builder. Polite, friendly, punctual, and most of all, amazingly good at his job. The large raised area that we requested for the front of our house went through phases not far off "nightmare" when we realised how insubstantial some of the groundwork for the existing structure was. Karl calmly took this in his stride, rebuilding 2 bay windows down to foundation level, and then completing the raised area, steps and a patio to an outstanding level of finish and quality. His active role in helping us plan the structure was godsend. He has a really good eye for the finished structure from the outset, and the end result has absolutely exceeded our expectations. Both he and Darius were able to work under the watchful eye of Derek, who not only made sure they worked safely with heavy machinery, but also ensured they left everything clean, tidy and easy to live with, not just at the end of the job, but at the end of every working day. The best building team we have ever experienced, and we have had some really good ones before.

I'm more than happy to recommend Karl. He is completely reliable, considerate and comes up with lots of helpful ideas and suggestions. He and his team are a pleasure to have around, and the work site is always left tidy at the end of the day. The work on our patio threw up lots of unexpected problems but nothing fazed him and he did a beautiful job.

He did a superb job in laying our new patio, a job which included doing drainage and some electrics. I would always ask him to do anything in the building trade.

Karl really grafted for us to have the most amazing 2 story extension, including extras like a balcony, huge glass doors and a vaulted ceiling. Our house was OK before but now it's an amazing forever home. We love it!!

It only started out as a first floor extension, however there were set backs & we had lots of extra work done as the previous owner had badly DIY'd it! So had to demolish the existing room & put in new footings to start again. Plus there was loads of rain & us adding new ideas but Karl dealt with them all with the patience of a Saint.

The project was made as stress free as possible for us & Karl liased with building control, the structural engineer & other trades.
He explained what was happening and what to expect next in the process & generally looked after us.

Karl is a reliable & genuinely nice guy with fab ideas, very creative, adaptable & a perfectionist. A real professional! Highly recommended!

Great job repointing the cottage. Karl was punctual, worked hard and did a fantastic job. The work was completed on time and at less than the budgeted cost, which was a nice surprise. After completion, the area was left clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Karl.
