Beautiful and trendy. I checked almost all other developers housing projects and no one can match up to their standards specially kitchen and bathroom. The brickwork is awesome and they come in different schemes. I am a fan in particular with the green charcoal combination. They also have designs with attic converted into a master room with a private bathroom, sitting area and a small office on the landing on the level below. They did really well here. One thing I dont like in some of their designs is lounge accessible through the kitchen. I will never buy a house with this design. Apart from that they are my no one developer

Keepmoat building did not meet safety standards and incompetency leads to recurring failed inspections resulting in several months delay

I looked for a property in Hull in time for start of school in September 2022. It turns out this property which is Plot 62 at Amy Johnson was expected to be ready in August 2022, just in time for the new school year.

I didn't have any reason then to think that Keepmoat would not make up the August date as up to August they kept saying the project was on track.

Then in August Keepmoat informed their building had been stopped by an inspector, which means that something with the building wasn't properly being done right. However they blame the inspector rather than taking any responsibility.

It would be needing a new project because the current one was from 8 years ago and it did not met safety regulations that changed, but appearently no one in Keepmoat knew about this for the past 8 years passed without regulations changes being noticed by Keepmoat. Again no is to blame at Keeepmoat they said.

So the property would now be ready for September, but in September they informed it would be October as now it was a suppliers fault who had not delivered materials in time. It was not known whether the materials had been ordered on time.

In October Keepmoat informed they had the materials and completion for end of October was possible, but they were stopped one more time on a further inspection, because again something on the building was not properly done. It is not known why the building failed again to pass an inspection on the newly approved project. Up to today they haven't provided a clear explanation.

So Keepmoat informed the new date for completion could be November, but could also be December. They were not sure, but it was said once works re-started Keepmoat had already a plan in place that it would take a few weeks to complete the building.

Finally, in December, works re-started again, but Keepmoat informed it could be March 2023 before they completed the building.

So the reality indeed was Keepmoat had a plan for a few months, rather than a plan for a few weeks, or no plan at all, which left me only with a slight impression that someone in Keepmoat is lying.

Mistake after mistake and no one takes responsibility.

I strongly recommend you to not buy a house from Keepmoat. They are slow and incompetent

Had a look around house hunting and was impressed overall with the houses, designs and layout of the full area. Obviously this was
a previous run-down & bad area of Hull and I think that the planners & development teams have made sure that the full long term development of this area has been and is to an overall high standard. As with any new development though the usual large number of cars and vans seem to dominate the roads and driveways. Wish developers would still give new homes decent driveways & stop skimping on these & front gardens. Same on Kingswood, cars & vans parked all over the place and no front gardens and small rear gardens. As a builder this spoils most new estates, but tbf this one, is not one of the worst in the area & the House Prices are still climbing here too, like everywhere else.
Housing market has not suffered at all as yet, despite earlier predictions !!
