We recently booked with Kent Surfacing LTD to drop our curb and pave over our driveway, and we cannot recommend them enough. Josh was so helpful and reassuring from the off, coming over to give us a quote while also advising us about things we might not have thought of. My wife and I both work during the week but Josh came and carried out the works each day, calling us whenever he needed our input, and every day we came back from work to find a huge amount of progress! The drive took just 5 or so days for him to do, and the dropped curb only 2 (despite the bad weather). Josh also gave us so many options, giving us the pros and cons of different ideas and was so amenable, including one morning when I mentioned before leaving for work that we would quite like a border, and coming home from work to find that he’d done it! We are both so pleased with the final result and cannot thank Josh enough for his hard work, professionalism and help. We really would recommend him to absolutely anybody wanting to have works done to their drive/dropping their curb.

I would not hesitate to recommend Josh. His quote was competitive and he was very quick to provide a revised quote when we slightly altered our requirements. Bearing in mind the nature of the job it was undertaken with minimal disruption and to a good standard. At the end of the job everything was cleared away and he even replaced tree bark in the garden border when it was all completed.

October 2019: Kent Surfacing Ltd have just completed laying down a new drive for us along with extending the existing dropped kerb so that it now runs the whole width of our drive. We've been in our home for 4yrs now and have never liked the drive that was already in place. Now the job is done, the drive is not only fully practical (previously, a random bit of turf took up at least a 1/4 of the space) but it looks great and, most importantly, the Wife is really happy with it! Josh & Liam worked over 4 weekends and, from the start until the end, were friendly, professional and focused. Their pricing was also really competitive too. We were initially hesitant about using them as the Company is very new but, after speaking with both Josh & Liam, we felt it was a 'risk' worth taking and we couldn't be happier that we did. As they both explained to us, doing a great job is of huge importance to them for the sake of the reputation of the Company so please don't be deterred like we initially were. Highly recommended!!

Edit 09/04/21: A small section of the drive had sunk a little so I contacted Josh yesterday morning. He was out to us in the evening and then back this morning to get it sorted. Amazingly quick response proving yet again Kent Surfacing Ltd offers a great service!
