Lawson Lofts are amazing! The loft conversion and orangery they did for us has really elevated our house. Before the master bedroom in our 4-bed house felt cramped, now we have a master suite that feels fit for Lord & Lady of the Manor! Also the orangery gives us a lovely light filled space in the garden which is usable all year round.

Right from the start we knew we were in good hands. Tom visited, we spoke through what we wanted (gable end window, hip to gable conversion and full width dormer which we’d been told by other contractors was very complicated). Tom said “we’ve done all of that before, there’s nothing particularly complicated about what you’re asking for… you’ll have your fixed price quote within 48hrs”. We received the quote on time as promised, and it was well itemised giving us confidence that all of our requirements were factored in so we went ahead.

We were impressed with everyone who had a hand in our loft conversion Dave Franks the project manager was fantastic. He kept us well informed every step of the way, did a great job of coordinating all the trades and nothing we asked for was too much trouble… including adding an extra velux window at the last minute (thanks again Dave!).

We opted to use Lawsons recommended tradesmen for every part of the job and they were all excellent.

The process was amazingly smooth considering the amount of detail that goes into such a big job. We’re absolutely thrilled with the job. Before we were considering moving to upgrade, but we can’t imagine ever wanting to leave our house now as it’s perfect.

Lawsons recently converted the back of our garage into an office space. We couldn’t be happier with the service we received. All trades people were excellent, on time and communicated well, especially Danny who did the majority of the work. The admin side was seamless too. We were so impressed with them overall and would definitely recommend them and consider them again for future works.

We were struggling for space and really didn't want to move from our lovely cul-de-sac with wonderful neighbours and Karin my wife convinced me to get Lawson's to come and give us a quote, even with good reviews I was sceptical but how wrong I was, from the day Tom came to visit for a feasibility study I thought we were on to the correct track, Lawson's did everything for us from party wall design, structural calcs, building control, everything was very well organised,all the team were very polite and knowledgeable, everything was super well organised, Dave our project coordinator made sure we knew everything that was happening in advance all, money was stage payments which makes you feel safer the quality of work was very good and the disruption minimal, 10 week's from start to finish and now we have a wonderful master bedroom with ensuite, I'm in the trade and know a good job and team, these guy's are great and we would highly recommend them.

Lawsons lofts have done a fantastic job of our recent loft conversion from the moment I enquired with Lawsons, they've been very well organised and getting back to me and arranged a site visit to check whether the loft was suitable for a loft conversion, free of charge when we received a quote, the quote was competitively priced and well within our budget so we agreed to the works and the start date was four weeks time. The start date come around, scaffolding went up, materials all loaded up onto the scaffolding, so no materials was left on our driveway or grass area. The workmen were very professional and polite and very well organised throughout the build. We were very impressed with how organised Lawsons were with even a simple WhatsApp group with everybody involved in the group to keep you updated at all times and with any questions you may have. The build is now complete and we are loving our new room in the clouds.. massive thank you to Lawson's lofts.

From the 1st meeting we knew we had made the right decision choosing Lawson's for our loft conversion. They are professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Nothing was a problem for them. The build was a dream and so quick, we were kept informed at every step of the build and were looked after exceptionally well by Dave who looked after us throughout the build. We engaged Lawsons last year to do our loft conversion. Anthony Etheridge saw us through the initial design phases and then we had the scaffolding up on the 28th of September, and were in, complete with carpeting and decorating, by the 15th December, which is incredibly fast. I have to say that there was no trade off between speed and quality.

The teams that we had on the build were all excellent, communicated well, and did a fabulous job. Chris was doing the carpentry for a week on his own, we had Luke the electrician and Tim the plumber in and out a fair bit, the tiler Dean came in on a Saturday, and I thought the plasterer would work all night! I must also commend Jack and Reece (the build team) on tidying up too! We went out for the day when they knocked through into the house and were sure we would return to bedlam. Not a bit of it! Very tidy indeed.

Obviously there are a few issues as you would expect during any build, but these were all dealt with quickly and efficiently by the various teams with a fair bit of smoothing from the PM on our project (David Franks).

We took all the recommended work teams from Lawsons including decorating (Simon Bone and Wayne - absolutely fabulous), carpeting and air conditioning, and really felt this was of benefit, as it all seemed to work pretty seamlessly. A very quick and relatively painless process benefitting from the experience and professionalism of the teams involved. I would not hesitate to recommend Lawsons to anyone who was planning a loft conversion.

Great experience from start to finish. We were complete novices at major house changes really, but they put us at ease, made great suggestions and helped us see even more potential with our space! We would highly recommend them, they work exceptionally hard, and exceptionally fast and are genuinely the nicest group of people we have had do some work for us!
