Place a ordered Tuesday 8th April told me would be delivered Friday 11th April received delivery with 5 bags of sand short to tell me ill have them Saturday or Monday no show on Saturday rang today being (Monday 14th April) and said ill receive them later to only ring back and them telling me it's now going to be Wednesday 16th April and can't do anything about it not once they apologised or offered a refund I've had landscapers here who can't complete the job and costing me more due to them being on day rate and can't book no more work in just in case then can't come back to my job! This is shocking but new Tredegar building supplies can deliver same day but why so I buy more when lbs owes me the bags I will not take my custom to these again and certainly won't recommend them to anyone especially if you have your landscapers booked in! I've had to pay my landscapers for today for hanging around for this delivery for it not to show up!

My 1st impression was light, bright, extremely clean & spacious. The racks & shelving areas were fully stocked, extremely tidy and easily accessible & within easy reach.

The staff on the customer service desks were helpful, polite & jolly for an early Saturday morning. The radio was playing a reggae tune quietly in the background & they began beat bopping, toe tapping & moving to the beat.....happy staff = a happy customer...Thankyou.

LBS pengam have transformed the business in the few short months they have been there , customer service both over the phone and over the counter is fantastic , always willing to give advice when asked and your not left waiting . Pricing is really competitive , some products I've found are cheaper than main dealer so well worth giving them a go . Deliveries have been spot on ,free over a certain price ,drivers really friendly on time and readily available.

Have used them on several occasions, always very helpful, friendly and happy to give advice. Prices appear very competitive too. My last delivery was early (was told pm and it arrived early am...even better!), one item missing , but despite me saying 'it's not urgent' it was brought back up to me within 2 hours. Driver was very helpful, and with me being relatively new to the area, got a very informative 'history' lesson on the area too! Very impressed with service and customer care.

Went there for some timber to build a bookcase in the alcoves of my lounge. The workmen who dealt with all the timber could not have been any more helpful unless they built the bookcase for me 🙌 I can’t remember the one particular guy who helped (Alan maybe), who gave me basically step by step instructions on how to best build the bookcase, what I needed etc, which as a twenty something woman who just bought their first house was exactly what I needed, and the few timber yards we went to prior to LBS Pengam didn’t help me at all. Thank you again guys, next time I’ll come in with measurement instead of my string 🥲😂
