I engaged Longcroft for a refurb downstairs of our Victorian Terrace in South Bristol at the end of 2023 after a leak from next door prompted an insurance claim and some wider improvements.

This included complete removal of a lath and plaster ceiling, some minor electrical works, floor sanding of the dining room, hallway and sitting room, full redecoration of the dining room complete with fitting new period style moulded cornice and applying a new Osmo product to the floorboards downstairs.

The proprietor, Nathan Ellis, also assisted with email wording for the loss adjuster to progress a cash settlement contribution. We had a pre-start meeting with him to go through the works and programme.

Most things went really well. The tradespeople arrived when expected, exceeded our expectations on tidiness and damage limitation (especially regards to the ceiling) and overall did a fantastic job.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending Longcroft for mixed works since they have tried, tested and trusted sub-contractors with better than average communication and respect for client's homes.

Did an excellent job on a major window installation which required lots of rendering and re-plastering and some minor roof repairs. Great team of people, good quality of work and did things when they said they would.
