Great theatre. All the auditoriums have good seats and are clean and it’s well looked after.

Parking can be a bit of a mare, once you’re trying to leave the Lowry car park (but this isn’t something the theatre can control) the metro/tram is always a good option if travelling from the Manchester

The Lowry in Manchester is a striking cultural venue combining modern architecture with a varied programme of exhibitions, theatre, and performance. The gallery space is well-curated, especially the permanent L.S. Lowry collection, which offers real insight into his work and life. The theatres host a mix of touring productions, comedy, and local performances, and the seating is generally comfortable with good sightlines. Staff are helpful and the space feels accessible and clean. The nearby quays provide a pleasant setting for a walk before or after a visit. It’s a worthwhile destination whether you’re after art, a show, or a quiet coffee with a view.

The show was amazing. The venue is fantastic. Almost an hour after the show and we're trapped in the car park and nothing is moving. Rubbish ending to an absolutely fantastic evening.

The staff and hotel was excellent. Evening meal was very good and breakfast was wow loved it. The bed was very comfortable. Short walk into the centre. Only annoying thing was a light which was on the floor before bathroom. Could not see any means to turn off. Other than that was fantastic

Went to watch Dear England a few weeks ago.
Have been to the Lowry various times, can recommend for theatre shows or comedy gigs.
The venue is quite intimate, a good view from many areas and comfy seats.

What can I say I done the L S Lowry Going to the match 360 experience and WOW it was truly amazing. I would highly recommend it. You can't take photos or video in there but that doesn't matter it's something you will never forget. Actually being in the painting and seeing it come to life is just brilliant. Then to take in his paintings and some items was just wonderful. Please if you get the chance book this completely free experience they just kindly ask for donations if you can which is well worth it

A very interesting museum with lots of exhibits, and facts about Lowry, from his childhood, through to his later years. The area is also quite nice to just stroll around. There is a gift shop of course.

My first visit to the Lowry. I was most impressed. Even though the theatre was packed it felt light, airy, calm. There is a nice bar on the first floor which most people didn’t find until it was time to take their seats. My tip; go upstairs if you want a quieter atmosphere pre show.
There were plenty of ushers to direct and advise, a lovely modern building and the most comfortable theatre seating I have experienced to date.
I parked in the Quayside Car Park, just a few minutes walk away. Pre book the parking and just drive in an out, no barriers or queuing at ticket machines after the show if you do this.
My first visit, I will definitely return. Recommended!
