I cannot recommend M W McGinns highly enough. After a leak causing major damage to the bungalow, it required a total re-fit.

They carried out the work to the highest quality and I could not be happier with the standard of work and professionalism shown throughout. They kept me up to date and removed any stress from the rebuild, the result is now stunning as a result of their excellent workmanship and knowledge.

They completed the work on time, leaving the place spotless and just perfect.

We have had the pleasure of working with M W McGinn Construction on the Consolidation and refurbishment of two cottages into one dwelling in Holme-next-the-sea from November 2020 to October 2021.

Throughout the project both Matt and his site manager Fergus had provided the project considerable care, attention and forethought which has resulted in a high level of finish and a project that the Client is pleased with. McGinn have been proactive in dealing with matters arising from site and co-operative and collaborative in their approach.

McGinn’s workmanship speaks for itself as this project shows They are exemplary in their attention to detail, finishing and protection of the works leaving very little snagging to be picked up.

McGinn have also been pragmatic in their approach to the building contract which was let under a JCT Minor works 2016. They have understood and adhered to the contractual procedures whilst maintaining a professional and friendly attitude. This has greatly reduced the work we have had to undertake as contract administrator and fostered the smooth running of the project and contract.

It has been a pleasure to work with them on the project and we hope to work with them again in the future.

We contacted Matt with planning consent and blding regs for our house rebuild / refurb project in Old Hunny back in 2022. This was after trying & failing with a handful of other local builders.

Very professional approach, priced tendered and realistic programme. Matt has very reliable & skilled guys working for him who produced a great finished product. Always available to discuss issues, meet on site and receptive to changes in design, subject to agreeing costs.
