6 years ago Manser and co supplied and installed 13 sash windows for us. Despite our care, we noticed this spring signs of rot under the paint. Some bits of timber are so damaged and soft that they are disintegrating as we put pressure on them. The damage was hidden under the paint and it is not clear how the moisture has been getting into the timber, which is obviously of very poor quality and inadequate for exterior use. I called Jonathan Manser asking him to come and see the damage for himself and witness the fact that it was not due to lack of care. He refused to come, saying that there was no point in him seeing the windows since he would not replace or repair them. I ask if he would at least assist us in repairing the damage but he also refused, claiming to be too busy with other work for the foreseeable future. Considering the fact that 6 years ago he assured us that the windows would last our lifetime, we are outraged by his attitude. Be aware.
