McCane construction were appointed by our insurance company to repair our house after it was totally trashed by a water escape from the electric shower whilst we were away on holiday. We moved back in this weekend after 6 months of damage repairs.
The project was managed magnificently by Ben Pearson, we were kept up to date with all the progress on a regular basis, even out of hours Ben was available if I had any questions.
We are very happy indeed with the quality of the tradesman appointment.
I would like to compliment Ben Pearson on his totally professional
Attitude, work ethic and interpersonal skills which made our very stressful experience easier to cope with.
Thanks to McCain and especially Ben for everything.

Awful company, it was the contractor for the insurance work of the kitchen. Large company however they subcontracted to a one man name builder. The issues caused by the builder have still not been rectified by the contractor for over 5 months and are still chasing to get the work done.
Simple and quick jobs just left hoping that we get it done by someone else.
If you're given this contractor by your insurance ask if you can have another contractor. This has been one of the worse contractors I've ever used. No call backs, no follow up, no professionalism, no integrity.
Every job subcontracted to other companies to negate any responsibility. Without realising they are responsible not their subcontractor.
Brand new Door with a 10 year guarantee damaged by builder they wanted to repair it? Their repairer advised it would only be then guaranteed by them for 1 year. After months of arguing they agreed to replace the door slab. Now the window company is having issues getting the money for the door?

I needed assistance with a small extension project which required piling, as the original house was piled. Steve, Andy and their team were amazing. From initial advice, responsive quotes and talking through the steps to the actual building works, everything was very professional. Whilst the team was onsite they were efficient, polite and extremely tidy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs help with piling or foundation solutions.

Drilled through a gas pipe in our home. Patched up the pipe and rebuilt the wall, 3 months later we had the gas board out after reports of the smell of gas from our neighbours, turns out a pressure test had not been taken after the repair of the drill hole and they hadn't noticed the fractured fitting in the pipe! It's been 2 months since the 2nd gas leak has been repaired and our wall still has not been fixed!

This company were used for a insurance claim , which were in my kitchen.Somebody came out to replace the floor which werent right and then to top it off sent a painter who didnt know how to cut in, diabolical.Did complain and willing to send people in again, but to me that werent the point, should have been done right in the first place.Workmen had 2 days each to complete the work, which were done in half day.
