I bought from Meadowview is 2018, after speaking with a number of new home builders, the experience with Abi and the team was incredible. From tours around the property at short notice to offering advice and expertise when I really needed it, I couldn’t have asked for more during pre-sales, and I ended up with a house that I really wanted!
After moving in there were a few teething issues as you expect with a new house, but the team were great and everything was fixed within hours!!
3 years later and it’s still the same, if I ever need anything I’ve always received a response within 24 hours. Genuinely, customer service that goes way above and beyond what you’d expect.

We purchased our Meadowview Home in September 2017.

We had totally faultless purchase experience, Abi was amazing and is an absolute asset to Meadowview. We were offered great choices in terms of customisation which wasn't something we had before with a previous new build.

Overall they do build lovely homes with quality materials but be prepared for lots of snags if our experience is anything to go by. We had over 150 of varying levels of severity. For example, we had numerous leaks that started as soon as we moved in. Eventually these led to both bathrooms being ripped out and replaced, not what you'd expect and certainly not the 'exceptional standards' they claim.

Our chimney has also been leaking/damp since the day we moved in. Despite countless repair attempts and the house being scaffolded for nearly 3 months last year, it is still soaking wet over 3 years on (photo taken 02/02/2021).

This review should be 4 to 5 stars because in general the quality of the home is wonderful. Abi does a great job throughout the buying process and made it a real comfort through issues selling our old house. Unfortunately this is where everything takes a nose dive. A year on from moving in we still have outstanding snags which were mostly a result of Meadowview rushing our house to get it finished.I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to contact people to get this sorted only to be ignored. I have worked at home on numerous occasions with tradesmen booked to come and sort things and they never turned up. The after sales service is nothing short of appalling and is this any surprise when they already have your money? For a company that prides itself on quality it’s such a shame they ruin the whole experience with their appalling after care. Unfortunately this not a lone occurrence the majority of houses on our development are still trying to get snagging sorted over a year on. Sort it out Meadowview because you could so easily be amazing!

We purchased our Meadowview property earlier this year, after vowing never to purchase a new build given our friends/family experience with Wheeldon, Persimmon Homes and Barratt Home.... and the never ending list of snags. From start to finish, Abi the sales manager listed to all our thoughts and was helpful throughout, including Vic the Site Manager who has been friendly helpful and professional throughout the entire process.

Yes there have been snags, but all were agreed after a few weeks, we spotted some as did the site manager, and after 6 weeks all our snags were closed. We had a small leak, in our lean-to roof of the kitchen dinner reported it in the evening next morning at 8 we had vic around and roofers by 10. With painting taking place a week or. 2 later after it had dried 😉

The building does breath and move owing to it being brand new, but any cracks less than £1 coins width we sort, anything bigger they sort.

We have wild life throughout our garden, a hedgehog, field mice and a sparrow hawk which keeps its eyes on the birds in the garden. That in itself is a credit to the level of due diligence Meadow put in to ensuring the environment is left and undisturbed as possible.

As a young family with a 2 year old (and a Labrador) we were worried about moving in to a new home. But Meadow View Homes couldn't have done enough for us. 100% recommend them, thanks for helping us settle into our forever home.

We moved into our new Meadowview home in July and cannot be happier. The house is beyond expectations and is finished to a very high standard. All the team excel in their positions within the company, Abi was constantly in touch with me and would reply instantly to all my emails (even when she was on holiday) Vic the site manager and his staff were always on hand after we moved in for any minor snagging faults. We have recently purchased a two and a half year old Meadowview property from the original buyer. As expected there are issues with leaks, fans not connected, missing documentation and electrical and heating problems, all of which we have had or are in the process of correcting at our own expense. However, part of the property and garage are rendered and this is of an extremely poor standard as it is covered in cracks and peeling paint. We are having this rectified, at our own expense, as Meadowview refuse to accept any liability for the sub-standard work. I can’t believe that they suggest that their rendering is only good for 2 years and that the faults are cosmetic - one would not expect to have to have cracks and peeling paint rectified every 2 years at considerable expense. Professional renderings come with 15 to 20 years guarantee!! Our house is pictured on their website, looking all pristine! If interested I have pictures of how it looked prior to our calling in professionals to rectify it! Their customer service and attitude is very poor.

Looks good on your outside and they do a good data pitch. Terrible work underneath. Faulty electrics, leaks structural issues. Buying from Meadowview Homes has been the absolute worst mistake of my life. Tens of thousands of pounds down the drain.
