We chose MRS as they are an approved Velux installer. We had a Velux sun tunnel installed. The team arrived promptly at 815 and completed the job by midday. The guys on site were very careful to protect our home with dust sheets and left the area clean and tidy.
We are delighted with the sun tunnel that looks great externally and floods a previously dark stairwell with light.

I've been very impressed with John Edmond and the team at Midlothian Roofing. Last month, I noticed a leak coming into ceiling of my spare bedroom. Within a couple of days, John was out to take a look and was able to show me pictures of broken and slipped slates from my roof which were causing the leak. He temporarily got them back into place before two gents came out a short while later to replace and fix the tiles permanently.

Everyone I've dealt with has been polite and courteous, they did the job timeously and to a high standard and their prices are reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Midlothian Roofing Services Ltd to anyone.

From start to finish I have been impressed with Midlothian roofing, survey and estimate carried out quickly with plenty of photographs to show issues. Work carried out today was great. All the work carried out and all mess taken away everything left clean and tidy. Excellent company.

Midlothian Roofing installed a large velux window for us. This is our first property and we've only been in it 3 months so I was rather nervous about having such major works carried out. I wanted to make sure it was carried out by a reliable company so I approached Midlothian Roofing due to them being certified by Velux.

John the estimator quickly arranged to come out and do the survey. Prompt communication then followed with a couple of quotes for different options and a date booked in.

The roofers, Stuart and Jordan, arrived promptly on the arranged date all ready to go and go straight to it. I was immediately apparent that Stuart is very experienced at these types of work and immediately put my mind at ease. Both Stuart and Jordon were very friendly and professional and a delight to have in our home during the works. They were great at keeping us informed of progress and what was going to happen next. The job was finished on time and they left the place very tidy. Our house is an old miners cottage which has a very sooty loft space and I can't overstate how much I appreciate the effort they made to minimise the amount of suit that came down from the loft when they cut the plasterboard.

All in all, I am very pleased with the work carried out and I wouldn't hesitate to use Midlothian Roofing in the future. Thank you!

Guys came out and done the roof and skylight no problems (haven't been on the roof)
Alas down pipes were supposed to be cleared out,they weren't they were only cleared the first 5 feet i had to do it myself.
Gutter was leaking at joint 4 attempts to fix it its now all crooked and worse than before.I was then told i need a quote to get gutter realigned.
Was part of the job to be done
I said no thanks.
They did call me back but it was more about getting the review removed

Very professional and friendly services and team - from initial inspection and quote, to the completion of the finished work on the agreed date and time, and to the level of attention and care paid to the entire implementation process and the property. We had a very positive experience with the company, all the staff we had an interaction with were nice, pleasant people, it started with the first visit, the estimator was a nice local chap with a lovely personality, the guys that carried out the work were two young lads but again kept us informed of the progress of the work being carried out, the replacement of two velux windows, the work that was carried out was top class and they tidied up after themselves and found it to be of a very professional standard then finally the lady I dealt with in the office too was lovely, courteous and friendly, another of our relations also had a positive experience with the company, highly recommend.
