We had been planning to have a loft extension for years, and when we decided to finally go for it, MoreSpace were the first company we approached, as we had heard very positive reviews about them. From our initial consultation with Ben, I felt confident they could deliver what we wanted. The clarity of the week-by-week breakdown of works, the favourable payment structure and the efficiency in communication made the decision to go with them even easier.

Once we’d agreed a start date we were introduced to our assigned builder, Gary. Gary was friendly, efficient and considerate from start to finish, and confidently hit all targets within the agreed timescales (started in mid Oct-24 and finished by early Dec-24; decoration works carried out thereafter). He kept us informed at every step of the loft conversion journey and the quality of his work is evident throughout the build, which surpassed our expectations. He and his team ensured that at the end of each shift the site was left clean and tidy, which was very much appreciated by our entire family.

I've read other reviews which echo the sentiment of how pleased they were that Gary was able to achieve all these works in such a short period of time and without sacrificing any of the quality, and that is something that he is to be commended on. We really couldn’t have been happier with the appointment of Gary and his team (Brad, Barry, Matthew, Dal) and his entire supply chain, from electricians, to plumbers, tilers and decorators, whose prices for all out-of-scope items were all extremely reasonable. I have absolutely no hesitation in giving Gary/MoreSpace 5 stars. Anyone looking to have similar work carried out would be lucky to have him appointed as their Building Contractor.

A special mention to Ben, whose initial site visit and consultation, and subsequent clarity of communication to our various queries/requests - including a clear costing for all extras we were considering as part of the build, such as re-roofing of the entire house, internal door replacement, etc - paved the way for us to choose MoreSpace, and ultimately be coupled with Gary and his team.

We used More Space for a side return extension in summer 2024. We have friends who have had nightmares with builders and so were nervous and expecting delays and escalating costs. We were really pleasantly surprised. Adam and the team of builders did excellent work, worked really hard and were nice people to have around. Adam made friends with our neighbour which was so important. We did have some challenges as with all builds but solutions were always offered and worked through with Adam and Stuart at More Space. In the end we were only delayed a couple of weeks and had minimal unforeseen costs - we did end up spending more but that’s because it made sense for us have some other work done at the same as things went on (eg full repointing of back of house etc.) which Adam was happy to take on. Definitely recommend.

We had an extensive extension at the back of our house. Knocking down walls, raising floors, and having a glass wraparound. It is gorgeous. (With underfloor heating.)

Lots of good things to say. First, the builders were brilliant. Gjoke and the team were excellent communicators and were SO fast and thorough. it really helped to be available throughout so that decisions could be made quickly and nothing was delayed.

Stuart and Fred were helpful and kept us in the loop with good ideas and feedback from the start to the finish. We're delighted with it all. I guess we now have to redo the rest of the house!

We recently completed an extension project with MoreSpace. Our contractor was Alfred, along with his team: Mariusz, Jack, Pawel and Robert. From day one, Alfred was in our corner. On a major build—where bumps in the road are inevitable—the key is having a contractor with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset. Alfred exemplified these qualities.

Communication was always clear and consistent, and the on-site team was first class. They worked efficiently, yet never compromised on quality. Mariusz, in particular, is an incredibly talented builder and a real credit to Alfred’s team.

Andy, our Project Manager, was always available to take my calls and bring everything together whenever needed. The MoreSpace model isn't unique—it offers all the ancillary services required, under one umbrella. From architectural design and planning to building control, everything was managed in-house. If you're undertaking a standard extension or loft conversion, you don't need to spend £000s on these services. My advice when engaging with MoreSpace be thorough about whats included up-front. The guarantees are good and you get a sense that they want to do right by people which isn't as common as you might think in the building trade.

We’re pleased with the outcome and grateful to the entire team. We have already started speaking to MoreSpace about doing our loft on one proviso, Alfred is our contractor.

Many thanks to the MoreSpace team and in particular Edi and his team for all the hard work and dedication on our wrap around and part two storey extension. Edi and his team were extremely hard working, courteous and polite and always cheerful. Edi provided helpful advice throughout the project and they managed to work to a very tight deadline, with the impending arrival of 2nd born (our planning permission was approved and two days later they started the project)! We’re really glad we chose More Space for our project. The fact that everything was fully budgeted and scheduled from the start was a huge plus for us, and they absolutely delivered on both. Our builder, Martin, was a true professional—his team worked tirelessly every day, and he kept us informed and reassured at every step. The biggest bonus? My wife and I agreed that we didn’t feel a single moment of stress throughout the entire process, which was amazing. While they might be a bit pricier than smaller builders, they more than make up for it by staying on budget and hitting deadlines. Overall, we’re very happy with the end result.

Morespace demonstrated exceptional proactive problem-solving skills, promptly addressing any challenges that arose during the project. Their structural engineer played a crucial role in resolving lingering issues, and their assistance in obtaining necessary permits from the council and Thames Water was invaluable.

In conclusion, I am thoroughly satisfied with Morespace and Edi Sokoli. Edi is a true professional, and his hardworking team is a testament to his exceptional leadership. I wholeheartedly recommend Morespace and Edi Sokoli to anyone seeking to bring their ideas to life on time and within budget.

I would thoroughly recommend MoreSpace for any building work. What makes them a special company in my opinion is the aftercare service, even years after the completion of a project.
They sort out any issues as quickly as possible starting with the charming Alica in the office and the brilliant Des leading the team on the road.
There are always snags with any building job, so the quality of the repair work should be a big reason for who one chooses for a contract.
MoreSpace cannot be faulted in this respect, while I’m sure others hide behind the small print claiming it’s no longer their responsibility.
