Disgraceful. Woke up 8am to the sound of digging machines right outside my bedroom window. On a Sunday morning. No consideration at all. What ever happened to Sunday a day of rest.

Started working at 7:30am on a Saturday morning in the middle of Merville Garden Village residential area with pneumatic drills and a noisy generator. So after waking the whole area up for an hour or so, they disappeared. Cheers lads. Even delaying things by an hour would have been more acceptable. Total disregard for residents.

Morrow Contracts are currently working at my house on behalf of NIE Networks. Their work has been excellent to date. Their operatives, particularly Lucas & Terry, have been helpful, cleaned up after each day's work; all combined with a very positive attitude to health & safety. Thank you.

I would just like to thank Barry and Dean for their expert job in laying new turf grass in my garden after it was dug up by NIE to replace new electric cables. They were very hardworking and professional and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I have nothing but praise for these two guys who were polite, considerate and well mannered. Thank you again Barry and Dean, my garden looks great.

I have nothing but praise for Morrow’s workers especially Barry and Dean who reinstated my tarmac and brick paving drive after NIE replaced an electric cable. All the workmen were extremely helpful and well mannered and Barry and Dean did a fantastic job laying brick pavers to join my original tarmac. Thanks a lot men for a job well done.

Firstly, I’d like to begin this review by stating the following – if you are experiencing an issue with Morrow Contracts Ltd, it is much more efficient to find out the name of the company they are carrying out the contractual work for and contact the said company to investigate the matter further. You will get absolutely nowhere by raising an issue with Morrow directly.

The simple truth is, the Morrow Contracts team who handle calls from the general public are dreadful. They do not return calls, there is a lack of empathy, a lack of urgency and they display a complete disregard for residents affected by their works.

I’d like to state that I really don’t have an issue with maintenance work being carried out, it needs to be done occasionally, that’s fair enough. I also don’t have an issue with the engineers who carry out this essential maintenance, they’re just doing their jobs.

However, Morrow Contracts seem to have an extremely serious communications issue and, to be blunt, if you call the main switchboard to report an issue, it will fall of deaf ears and will not be investigated promptly or thoroughly.

We had our driveway blocked recently for a total of 9 days! Despite numerous calls to Morrow throughout the week, the member of staff concerned didn’t return calls and their attitude became more and more blasé as the week went on. Sadly, they gave the impression they didn’t have a clue what was going on, and by the end of this unnecessary saga, we were left very frustrated, extremely irate and had absolutely zero confidence in the Morrow team.

It wasn’t until we contacted NI Water directly by registering a complaint via their online webchat service, that the issue was resolved within 24 hours. NI Water provided us with a reference number and followed up with us by calling to our door and speaking to us verbally about the difficulties we experienced at their hands of their contractor.

Do yourself a favour, as you will save yourself time and unnecessary stress – contact Morrow to ascertain who it is they are carrying out the work for and raise your concerns with the company directly.

And if Morrow even take the time to read this or any of the other reviews – you need to seriously invest in appropriate customer service training for all your staff (office and operational) and put an adequate customer care procedure in place.

Never notify residents before digging up streets and don't care that they breach protocol in this way. Block driveways, block residents access. Rude workers who are very blunt demanding to take away access to disabled residents and then sit in diggers with their feet up keeping access blocked. No respect for residents, don't care about sticking to regulations. Work lasting weeks longer than they had permission for. Don't notify council. Fail to put up signs to state nature and length of work. Refuse to do anything about complaints and say to complain to a different company. Leave holes untarmaced for weeks and dump equipment on people's front gardens walls.
