Sohail quoted me over 3 times the going rate to assess whether a wall was load bearing and then proceeded to suggest a RSJ, pillar and lintel for a wall which I have since had assessed as non load bearing. If I had followed his recommendations it would have cost me at least £4000 to remove this wall instead of the £500 that it's cost me to get a certificate of non load bearing and do it myself.

Sohail put together the structural calculations that allowed us to open up our Victorian terraced home into a more useable living space. He was very considered and reassuring when first assessing the site and made sure that his design future proofed the structural stability of our home. At the end of the building works he also came out and took the time to assess the site to ensure we were happy with the finished work. Sohail is professional and very well mannered and would happily recommend his work to others.
