Well, where do I start? We were wanting to completely refit our kitchen and that required some building work to be done first, the old existing coal house and toilet rooms that housed our washing machine, tumble drier and freezer were to be knocked through so as to make it a longer kitchen area. On recommendation from Louise at MKM on Columbus Ravine we contacted John at Nexus here in Scarborough, John came to see us within a couple of days to discuss with us our options of what could be done with his expert knowledge to totally transform our kitchen.
Ducky from Nexus and Louise from MKM arranged to visit us a few days later to measure and suggest how the kitchen could or would look when completed.
We spoke to John on the telephone a few days later as we thought we would like to have work done in the dining room also.
John sent over an estimate of the cost of the work to be done along with an estimated timescale of how long the work would take to complete.
The work started in early January with builders, plumbers, electricians, joiners and plasterers alike, each and every one of them were pleasant, courteous and professional throughout.
The work was completed within the given timescale of four weeks.
We would without doubt thoroughly recommend Nexus for any building, joinery or electrical work that you require.

Solar Energy System
Nexus have provided a highly professional service at a competitive price. The workmanship was an exceptionally high standard. We’re really pleased with our Sun Synk inverter and battery storage - We can see in real time how much electricity we are producing, using and exporting. We can also check system performance. .Nexus built our kitchen extension and created a downstairs toilet. They carried out all works except decorating. They were very efficient with trades turning up as they were required and completed the project in 8weeks with one week out because of the weather. Very pleased with the work and the staff were polite and helpful.

Since contacting Nexus to upgrade my Solar system, I have been impressed with their approach to the project. Never rushed and given a number of options to optimise the upgrade to my solar system. They provided various price points and discussed, at length, the pros and cons of the various solutions Having decided the appropriate solution, the install was started promptly on the agreed date and was completed within the agreed timescales in a professional manor. Left the site as they found it and have been there with support as we bed the new system in. All relevant paperwork and certification was provided promptly after the work had been completed. All in all, an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish. Great Job👍

I had solar panels installed on my house 16 months ago.
At NO time since then have they operated properly.
Power has got through to the mains a couple of times, the battery has been fully charged since it was installed - because it has never fed power back into my house.
All that money - for what? Precisely nothing.
Yes, I tried the installers and the power company as well as a couple of local electrical firms - NOBODY could solve my problem! I'm not an electrician, I wanted answers, not technical garbage!!
Then I took a chance with NEXUS and - all of a sudden - the sun coming out means more than the rain has stopped.
Now I have money coming back to me for the power I am feeding into the mains!
My power bills are being reduced by using power from my expensive panels!!
I thought that was what it was all about! How foolish could I have been. Big investment, no return.
UNTIL ----- NEXUS!!
Well done to Rob and the lads at Nexus, you're permanently on my list of service providers from now on.
