Professional service from the design stage through to after care. The management and site staff represented the company well and carried out works to a high standard. Site staff worked safely and were open to answering questions from site management. Nicol of Skene management were easy to get hold of and answered queries quickly. Management were on site almost every day to check progress, quality and check in with the site management to make sure expectations were being met.

Overall, would recommend using Nicol of Skene.

I contacted a few contractors to replace and extend my existing drive along with slabbing the side and back of my home.

So why did I choose Nicols?

The communication. They kept me informed throughout from the initial meeting to completion. They gave me realistic timescales as to when they would start and how long the works would take.

The workmen were fantastic. I mean I can't praise them highly enough. They turned up at 7am and kept me informed about what they were doing and we were able to discuss changes which they had no problems in accommodating.

They tidied up each night and actually cared about the quality of their work. No corners were cut.

In summary I cannot fault any of the staff at nicols, from the office to the workmen.

The standard of work was great and I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Nicol of Skene repaired our driveway and put in new drainage over the last two days. (We had problems previously with water pooling along the side of the house.) The work is of high quality and they have done a very good job. They have kept us informed throughout the process. They were tidy and well organised. We would highly recommend them.

Works currently on going on Arbroath Rd. just outside Forfar. They appear to be trying to clear drainage kerbs with a water hose for Angus Council. I passed by in my car and got showered with muddy water. Absolutely no consideration for the travelling public.
