This review is long overdue!

We employed Nigel to undertake a large renovation and extension project at our home. We had started the project with another builder and had been badly let down. We found Nigel from a recommendation and we were lucky that another project he was meant to start was delayed. We will always be grateful for the recommendation and the delay!

Nigel is everything most builders are not. He is honest, responsive, reliable, provides written clear quotes and delivers on his promises. Throughout the build he was polite, calm and efficient as were his employees. He tried to save us money wherever he could, kept to his quote and was fair on his costings for extras. He approached problems with the mantra - ‘let’s concentrate on the solution rather than the problem’, which was helpful when our windows were delayed by months impacting on the work on our job and putting him under pressure with his following one.

Ours was a large project consisting of 2 large extensions and a complete refurbishment of both the interior and exterior of the house. Nigel was organised and mindful that we were living in the house and he was good at kissing with the subcontractors- many of whom were contacts of his.

We consider ourselves fortunate to have had Nigel and his team on our project, would hire him again and highly recommend him.

Nigel Brand and team built a large extension to our house, virtually doubling the footprint. Nigel was fully hands on and project managed the vast majority of the build too. Completely reliable team throughout. Two years after the build we're still pinching ourselves about how enjoyable the experience was and the wonderful home Nigel's built. I've attached photos to give a flavour of the project.

Nigel has just completed an extension to my house. So glad I chose his company. He kept me informed as the build progressed and was there regularly both to oversee the work and to be hands on. His attention to detail ensured that there were no problems. I am delighted with the result and would certainly recommend him.
