Great experience with this organization. I first got their service in 2019 to do a structural survey of my rented property and then to supervise the construction
work to address all the work recommended by them. The work was to my entire satisfaction. I used the company to inspect water penetration through the chimney and recommended work provided in a detailed report plus construction supervision beyond my expectations. Highly trustworthy and professional with generosity.

Very pleased I made contact with this company. Gary is very knowledgeable regarding the roof issues I have and has helped me to work through them, aiming to get to an acceptance of my property by a mortgage company for a re- mortgage.

Excellent experience. It was very easy to book a survey and the surveyor arranged access with the estate agent directly.
The homebuyers report was very comprehensive and the surveyor had clearly conducted a very thorough inspection.
I arranged a follow up telephone appointment to discuss a few of the findings that concerned me and these were well explained. Highly recommend this company.

I purchased a Home Buyers survey from this company earlier this month.

When booking the survey, I did ask that once the surveyor had arrived at site and prior to performing the survey, that I would like to have a phone call with the surveyor to discuss the most appropriate survey for this property. I did not receive this call and the next communication to me from the company was when the Home Buyers survey report was completed.

I also attempted to discuss two of the issues highlighted in the report during two separate telephone conversations with the surveyor. I must say that on the two occasions I spoke with him, whilst he did return my requests for a call, he was incredibly difficult to speak to; condescending and quite abrasive. This has meant that I am now working with a different surveyor to work through the outstanding issues.

After attending to do a specific defect report on a gable peak of our recently built house, the surveyor told us the problem was caused because there were no lateral restraint straps and the situation represented a serious safety issue. We immediately contacted our builder who promptly attended with an independent surveyor. They examined the same issue and pointed out the lateral restraint straps which we had been told were missing. Our builder then contacted Northeast Surveyors, who later omitted to mention the 'missing' items when they produced their report. We would have been better served by pouring our £495 down a drain - at least we would have been spared the expense and stress of being given information that was so obviously not true. A very expensive mistake!
