Warning to anyone with a 10 year gaurantee with this company.
Brought a property with 7 years remaining on a 10 year warranty for a conservatory from Omega.
The garden in the property has been un useable since summer last year when i moved in due to being bogged. I Decided to go out this weekend to resolve the issue only to discover after much investigating that the conservatory roof drain pipe was the cause.
It looks like the fitters had connected the drain pipe the wrong end so were unable to connect to the purpose built soak away. So instead run a length of soil pipe into the middle of the garden (which goes up hill) into a man made soak away consisting of a pile of bricks and rubble.
When contacting Omega I was immediately informed of clause 15 in the contract that states as the property was sold without notifying them and paying £250 transfer of names fee there is nothing they can do. They did offer to provide a price for correcting their fault though, however in my opinion they have already been paid.
I then contacted the double glazing ombudsmen DGCOS to discover that they are no longer affiliated with Omega as Omega stopped financing the service so couldn't help. So if you have an insurance certificate with Omega I doubt it holds much weight and if you contact DGCOS then they won't be able to help.
I wouldn't recommend this company given the very small contact I've had with them today.

The whole team at Omega Lifestyle have been amazing. I contacted the company after being left in a mess by a builder who walked off the job. Their response was amazing. Once I was ready to proceed they were there, survey completed in 24hrs and conservatory fitted in 4 weeks. Really happy with the finished product. Can not speak highly enough of the Omega Lifestyle team, friendly, efficient and the product is beautiful.

Can’t fault the team at Omega Lifestyle. I requested 2 quotes from local providers and only Omega responded. Everyone I dealt with on the phone and in person was extremely polite and helpful. Special thanks Derek who came out for the quote and took the order, and Ian who installed my new sliding door today - just fab service from you all. And only 2 weeks from placing the order my door is fitted and looks fab! Will definitely use again - thanks guys!

I bought windows from them, during installation it turned out that clean transparent glass was brought in the toilet and in the bathrooms, although they ordered frosted. They put a transparent one and promised that they would change it in two weeks. ok, they changed only in the bathroom, and in the toilet they brought a small size, again two weeks to wait! but I've been waiting for 6 months!!!! I call them and every time they promise me that Mr. Derek who sold me the windows will call me back, but there is no call from him. when I was buying, this gentleman called back for 15 minutes to keep the client and this is his interest, but the client had a problem because of them!! mistake should be done for months!! not to mention the glass in the three windows, which have factory scratches and also need replacing according to the engineer who installed them. It is impossible to contact the seller through the administrator's secretary.

From initial enquiry to fitting front door and five windows took 2 weeks and two days. From Derek the surveyor, Craig and Graham fitters, Elaine in the office, couldn't have had better service, needed new knocker on front door which was damaged and promptly replaced by fitter Ian. All at very reasonable price. Highly recommended

I chose Omega to install my Conservatory as I’d used them before at my previous address. They have been brilliant with both installations.
Ian the fitter was friendly ,professional, considerate, thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble for him ! He worked on his own and his days were long but he was always happy. The quality of Omega Conservatories is fantastic and I would never hesitate to use them or recommend them to anybody.

Excellent product built on our old conservatory foundations. Professional service.Derek kept us informed and got back to us quickly if there were any queries.Skirtingboard was overlooked when we ordered the conservatory but Derek arranged this and Ian did a very professional job with a high standard finish including recommending clear sealant with our grey vinyl floor. This looked perfect.Paul and his assistant worked very hard taking the old conservatory down and constructing the new.He was helpful, professional and tidy .It really looks great and has updated it completely. Very happy.

Would advise to avoid this company at all costs. After various problems during the construction, one of the sealed units in the conservatory failed on the 19th July this year. Temps reached 45 degrees centigrade in the conservatory which I presumed caused the unit to fail spectacularly. The glass was still under guarantee so I contacted Omega lifestyle who said they would replace it for £312.00 . I pointed out that the unit was still under guarantee and was told it didn’t cover ‘breakages’ thereby inferring I was lying. I got a local firm to replace the unit for £152.00
The local firm also confirmed they had three similar calls on the 19th due to the hot weather.
All in all a terrible firm, and there aftercare is non existent, reneging on their guarantees. I am now seeking restitution through the small claims court and consumer council.
