We have recently completed a double story extension and full renovation / remodel, including kitchen, bathrooms, windows, driveway, electrical re-wire, heating system, and external rendering. It may not have been PJ Constructions largest project from a financial perspective but it was one of the more complex because of the number of services required, material shortages, terrible Winter weather and a strict timeline!

We picked Steve and his team because they came across as the most genuine and trustworthy of the construction companies that we interviewed. This was solidified when he didn't ask for a penny up front, all financial matters were settled in arrears after inspection.

The whole team has a tremendous amount of experience and that really told when it came to obtaining supplies under a backdrop of shortages. Between Steve and the project manager, Paul, they knew everyone is the Surrey area and were able to obtain all items with little impact to the timeline.

A massive concern is budget. I was shocked that by the time of completion PJ Construction had completed the project within 1% of the budget that was put forward 12 months earlier, again demonstrating the knowledge they have of the industry.

Communication with such a large project is key. The project manager (Paul), was unbelievable. Incredibly proactive in keeping us informed of progress / delays / problems and how they were going to get resolved. PJ Construction also don't itemize the management of the project so we really felt this was a massive value add to have someone with Paul's experience, basically working for us.

The Quality of the work and the finish was just faultless. Every tradesmen was an absolute professional at their discipline. Special mention to the tiler, who had to put up with some horrible patterns and shapes! The finish through out is brilliant.

PJ Construction extended the back of our house adding a ground floor utility room, enlarging the kitchen and living space, knocking down walls and putting in massive steels and adding a 1st floor bedroom and a bathroom. We are delighted with the result. We had endless warnings from people who had had bad experiences with builders while having extensions done but PJ Construction were fantastic. The whole team were a pleasure to have around; lovely people as well as skilled craftsmen. Communication was excellent. Plans on what was to be done when were clear. Discussions about costs were open and honest. The whole experience couldn’t have been better.
