We had the team come in and lay flooring for the attic. Very competitive quote (the cheapest) and the work was carried out all in the same day to the very best standard.

I was impressed enough to discuss other projects around my house that I'd be interested in the team undertaking. Not only were the quotes incredible, we were dissuaded from particular things, explained why not to do it and simply in favour of us not spending unnecessarily. Customer first.

Just for transparency, we had a small issue with a wire that must've got snagged and a bulb stopped working. One quick message and I was promised the electrician would be there first thing along with a genuine apology. As promised, it went exactly as described.

Don't be put off by so few reviews, it can be tempting to go with hundreds of positives but every business starts somewhere. Quality work. Quality price. Quality people.

Cannot recommend the team at Platypus highly enough. Their attention to detail is second to none. They came along and fixed work another builder hadn’t finished and honestly wish I’d known about them earlier as I’d have hired the team to start with to do the whole job.
