In April 2024 my Audi A6 alternator failed completely. My local Audi Main dealer advised as it was an unusual part a new alternator would be back order and take 6 - 10 weeks to arrive from Germany, during which time my car would be off the road. Roger and his team had me booked in and back on the road in a matter of days with a reconditioned Bosch Synergy Alternator at almost half the main dealer quote. No alternator problems since. Just about to book a full annual service and MOT with Power Developments. So well done Roger and team.

Having recently purchased an E46 320i touring I wanted to find a local specialist and phoned to book an appointment to have the car looked at.
Went to drop the keys off and the guys in the office were too busy playing a playstation 5 to make eye contact or any real communication more than a 12 boy in his room. I Put that to the side and went to collect the car the next day, they had done a relatively large list of things big and small to sort which was to be expected with an E46 and was basically given no real time to explain the list they had done and seemed like the chap there wanted to take the £99 and get me out of the door and basically told to scrap the car unless it was a 330i touring, which I didn't want to do as any E46 manual touring is a rare thing these days. Was then told to drop a text to get a quote for some of the work and didn't get a reply for over a day before I sent a text as a reminder.
If you're the classic BMW owner with the classic "no indicator" arrogance then it's the place for you. But as an enthusiast then would probably swerve and look at somewhere like motoraid down the road instead as I can honestly say I had nothing positive about my experience with power developments.
