We would like to thank Martin and James and all the team at Preece and Sons who completed the extension and renovation off our cottage.
Their knowledge guidance and support throughout the build was exceptional. Their attention to detail enabled us to get the finish and look we wanted inside and outside off our home.
All the Team were so extremely helpful and professional, always happy to give advice.

I can’t praise Preece & Sons enough. They were extremely pleasant and professional to deal with and did a great job for us. The workmen turned up when they said they would and were tidy and respectful of our property. James and Martin made a number of site visits beforehand and during the works to ensure everything was exactly as we wanted and that we were happy with progress. They communicated really well and answered my many queries thoroughly and patiently. You hear so many terrible stories about builders - but this family firm are great and I’d thoroughly recommend them

James, Martyn and the team are 100% the best builders around. Everyone always warns you about the stress of renovating, and yes it’s stressful but employing Preece and Sons will reduce that significantly, I never once was concerned over quality or professionalism during our 6/7month complete renovation turning our bungalow in to a house! From the initial meeting to detailed quote, communication and project management I could not fault them! The quote was so detailed I knew exactly where we were and what we were spending which was such a reassurance on such a big build. No contractor/supplier had a bad word about them in fact all congratulated is on securing them for our renovation! Honestly could not recommend them enough if you’re lucky enough to find them available don’t hesitate to book them in! 🙂

We had a significant reconfiguration of the rear of our house done by Preece & Sons earlier this year. They brought the project in on budget, very nearly on time (despite some poor weather conditions and - in our unnecessary - changes demanded by building control) and they and their sub-contractors were unfailingly on time and considerate. The work they did was of excellent quality, with proper attention to detail - we are delighted with the results, and would not hesitate to recommend Preece & Sons to others.

It’s been 18 months since James and Martin handed back our home after we entrusted them to renovate and extend our 300 year old timber frame cottage. We knew from the day we first met them that our project would be in safe hands. Not only from a professional perspective but also personal, they understood what this house meant to our family and we felt they also cared about doing the right thing for it.
The level of care, craftsmanship, attention to detail and advice helped us through the renovation and to what we have today - our family home. We cannot thank them and the team they use enough. We certainly recommend them to anyone starting a project, however big or small and we will use them for future plans we have to further extend our home.

I highly recommend Preece & Sons. My experience was extremely positive. The team carried out a two storey, side & rear extension & complete renovation of my property. The level of service provided was truly outstanding. The quality of work is excellent. I was kept well informed throughout the process from the very start, through to completion of every aspect of the build. All costs & payment terms were transparent & fair. Agreements of work were explicit & maintained. The whole team were professional, approachable, always willing to answer any questions I had & offer me good advice when needed. I always felt in safe hands. Every team member worked to a very high standard. Attention to detail was always given. All of the team were considerate of reducing disruption to both myself & neighbours as best as possible, which was much appreciated by all. Work commenced on the agreed date & was completed within the timeframe given. I 100% recommend Preece & sons. Well deserved 5 stars.
