From the first conversation with Dom from Profile One Construction, communication has been easy. Dom has a 'can do' attitude and is always open to new ideas. We were able to collaborate with all aspects of the project, and his approach is open, positive, and professional. Dom's co-workers, Dan and Mikey went out of their way to accommodate us living in the property while the work was carried out. They were always friendly, knowledgable and happy to discuss progress and plans. The work site was kept as tidy as possible (Dan even washed the car as it got so dusty!). It is impossible to praise Dom and his team too much; Profile One's approach was driven by a 'can do' attitude. The building industry is a world we knew little of and most of the exchanges we had with companies left us feeling insecure and vulnerable; not Dom Seaman! His communication skills are quite exceptional as is his pride in his work and the work of his team which engendered a deep sense of trust. We had a vision for what we wanted and he bought into that in spades leaving us absolutely delighted with the end result.

The team were amazing, really organised and neat in their approach to everything. Although just the beginning of works we intend to do they made sure that at each step of the process we were happy with what was going to happen next, pausing to see if we wanted to change direction or add anything.

For the first time in a while we felt at complete ease and trust with a builder. As they found things they were completely open about, even to the point of not needing to do certain things we had expected and therefore saving time and money.

Their workmanship is first class, and even before finishing they were going through snags themselves, checking each others work and making sure they left it in really good condition. At times it felt like they weren't even there(in a good way!) They were so discreet in their work.

Afterwards they made sure everything was as they found it.

We'll definitely be using Profile One again for our next project, Dominic and his crew are complete pros and I would highly recommend them for any project as their experience and ability to work alongside the client is top class.

We could not be more delighted with the work that Profile One have done for us. Everything from start to finish has been first class. From initial feasibility discussions, through pricing and the job itself, communication with Dom and the team has been rapid, clear and professional. Every aspect of the job has been so beautifully managed, with a no-stress attitude at all times. The team have a policy of not running more than 1 job at a time – this means that they are on-site every day until the job is finished. The talent within the team is undeniable, everything from big structural work to the finest details of the decorating and positioning of each individual tile has been thought out and executed to the highest possible standard. Everyone in the team brings a different set of skills, each complimenting each other so the need for additional trades is minimised – this means that as the customer you are not waiting on different availabilities, or managing the burden of the organisation, the team can do it all themselves! The eye for detail, troubleshooting, dedication and tenacity of every member of the team is impressive to see. We feel so lucky they were able to work on our forever family home and we can’t recommend them highly enough, thank you Profile One!!

After 25 years working as an agent and property consultant in the Prime London markets, I have been witness to a scary amount of building disaster stories that would make most people stop and think before taking on a project. Due to this, we entered into the process of converting our barn with real caution but we got incredibly lucky and hit the jackpot with Dominic and his team from Profile One.

From initial tender to completion and handover, communications were excellent, changes were taken on with gusto, great suggestions were forthcoming from Dominic and the team and all in all, it was a much more pleasurable 10 weeks than we had any reason to expect. Most impressive though, Profile One came in on budget (not counting the extras we requested of course) and significantly ahead of schedule.

They are also incredibly hardworking and we had to ask them NOT to come earlier than 8am every day and we'd often find Dominic still working after 6pm. This is certainly not the norm from my experience.
