Project Coffee is a great place for drinks and food if you can manage to get a seat.

The fact that they are always busy speaks for itself , the food is always fresh and very flavoursome and because of this customers keep going back.

Bruntsfield is always a busy area for breakfasts and Project Coffee is one of the busy ones especially with students and if they are lucky their parents picking up the bill.

Today we had Butternut Squash & Sweet Potato soup served with bread along with Carrot cake and tea.

See you soon.

If you're looking for a great coffee spot in Edinburgh, look no further than Project Coffee in Bruntsfield. This cozy and welcoming café has a trendy, laid-back vibe that's perfect for working, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a good cup of coffee.

The coffee here is top-notch. In addition to coffee, Project Coffee also serves a range of delicious food, including breakfast items, sandwiches, and pastries. The menu is well-curated and offers a good mix of healthy and indulgent options. Everything we tried was fresh, flavourful, and satisfying.

The atmosphere of the café is another highlight. The space is bright and airy, with plenty of natural light. It's a great place to settle in with a book and spend some time working or relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they seem genuinely passionate about coffee and food.

Average and overpriced IMO. It's a nice coffee shop and they're dog friendly but £14 for 2 sausage sandwiches and 2 black americanos is pricey. They didn't even cut the sausages so that they fill the bread roll, just lazy! The staff were friendly though but I guess the Yorkshire man in me expected more for the price.

Lovely atmosphere and good seating. Have been here thrice and tried their soup, hot chocolate and veggie breakfast. Must say all of them were quite good and I’d recommend the hot chocolate the most. The prices are pretty competitive.

Great atmosphere, but £3 for 1 espresso is very overpriced IMO. I had a flat white and it was pretty good. Friend had a long black and didn’t like it as much

Excellent service, decent prices, great portions. I ordered the Project Breakfast and Earl Grey tea. It was my first time having haggis and I loved it, nothing like what I would except (it reminded me almost of a salty, meaty bulgar wheat). I loved the grilled tomato and small mushrooms, the bacon was thick cut and crisped and the toast was thick and multi-grain served with a tangy orange marmalade.

I have been a regular customer here for several years but have been put off by several recent poor experiences. On my last visit, we were ignored for several minutes by a staff member who saw us, but did not acknowledge our presence, as he was cleaning equipment. When he did finally serve us, his manners left a lot to be desired. We waited longer than we should have for our drinks, given the shop was quiet. The customer behind us quite rightly picked him up on his behaviour, as she was made to wait even longer than us before being served. Again, she received no acknowledgment from the staff member that she would be served, despite being clearly visible. Obviously tinkering with equipment is more important than serving customers!
I think some staff members would benefit from customer service training, or getting a different job as the attitude they exude suggest dealing with the public is beneath them.
