A very enjoyable experience here at an Introduction to Ceramics Workshop, at Carly Breame Ceramics studio and workshop in Bridgefield Mills (home of Project Colt).
Carly was the perfect tutor: knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.
Thanks to funding from National Lottery and Project Colt, the workshop was free to attend.

Elsewhere here at Project Colt, there is a large sales area for a huge range of secondhand items, a barber's, and a café.

Well worth a visit.

Arrived from the lakes with nearly nothing as everything was built into our home .We bought everything we needed to start a new life including display cabinet ,microwave ,TV cabinet and cupboards .All are in lovely condition and the staff couldn't do enough to help us.We even bought drinking glasses we had forgotten. They have a cafe which serves superb and economical foods and the politeness of the delivery men was fantastic too .! Thanks to all the staff as you've made a moving home so much better

If I could give these guys a 100 star review, I would! Excellent place to go if you find yourself newly moved into an unfurnished flat and are looking for quality, gently used pieces at an affordable rate. My partner and I went to Andrew and the guys in December and they have been nothing but helpful and kind ever since. Our situation has changed requiring us to move abroad and we cannot take our furniture. I call up Andrew and he did everything in his power to assist us and organise a collection for the pieces they could take on. Outstanding customer service! Cannot recommend them enough!

What a super place. Super staff and such an awesome idea. Barbers, coffee, cafe, second hand articles and artisan crafts. Full English was great and only £9 including a cup of Yorkshire tea. Couldn’t wish for more. Just on the Elland Bridge so very handy for the Narrowboat community as well as “normal” people ?

Arranged to donate a dining table & 4 chairs. A gentleman called on the day to say they had no driver - was very abrupt & quite nasty. Told me to find somewhere else to donate to. Horrible man. Had lots to donate but won’t donate here again!

**Edit:- Response - Having no van driver & the manager stepping in & then a close family member of the manager passing away was NOT explained to me. I was asked “what do you want to do then” & when I asked for it to be collected the week after I was told it was fully booked & to find “somewhere else” to donate to because we’re not going to do it because you “don’t seem happy!”

No of course I wasn’t happy to be spoken to like that & by the looks of your past reviews looks like I’m not the first one to think this either! The response to my original post was quite rude too.

What a place to visit, all staff are extremely friendly and helpful, I must say I tested them today and they were still very pleasant and helpful. It’s a great place to wander and all sorts of great bric a brac and furniture. I doubt you can come out without buying something or visiting the lovely cafe!!! I don’t know if you can see the work they do but you can certainly read about it
