I manage many properties for M&M Estate Agents. I had Prokil recommended to me by a Landlord they did not disappoint. Prokil are very thorough with the damp reports, keeping all parties constantly updated, whilst answering all questions asked. Prokil are very accommodating to the tenants whilst being polite and respectful upon there visits. They carry out all work to a very high standard and I would defiantly recommend. I have even taking them on as one of my go to contractors involving damp and mould within my properties. Thank you

Be very wary with this branch of Prokil. Some nice employees and good workers but unfortunately it is ran by liars who are out to pinch every penny possible off anybody willing to pay.

Firstly none of the staff are qualified the owners will not put any staff through the relevant PCA training, whether that be surveying or damp proofing work. They are extremely tight and the training costs money .The owners are not even qualified themselves.

“Tom” doesn’t exist. This is the owner Neil pretending to be an employee to get himself out of the daily trouble caused by their lies and false promises. I can only presume that the other owner his partner Colette welcomes these lies too as she sits in the office listening to it all day every day.

Also “Serenity Construction” which they describe as their sister company doesn’t exist. It is the Prokil workers that do everything. It is a money making scheme from the owners so they can quote for every construction job possible even though, the employees aren’t qualified in those trades either.

When it comes down to the actual surveys And works things are made up and changed all for £££ and the workers are forced to scrimp and save at all costs to ensure their profits as well as try and meet unrealistic deadlines set out by the owners. Disregarding their working hours and breaks in the process. There is little to no organisation most planning is done on the day leaving the employees to pick up the pieces. They are asked to find “extras” on each job which puts them in an awkward moral dilemma.

Everything at this branch is based off lies, profits and greed. All the owners care about is themselves which is a shame because some great guys work here and at the other branches, which are ran much better. Be very wary dealing with these people as the lies will begin as soon as “Tom” picks up the phone.

Be aware all the 5 star reviews are fake on Google and checkatrade as the employees are constantly hounded to post fake reviews.

I had mould ingress in my front room and master bedroom which required the walls being taken off, a waterproof membrane fixed and the wall reboarded then plastered. From the survey stage i was kept fully in the loop and the Surveyor Neil was extremely knowledgeable and willing to explain every step of his process.

The report was finalised and sent over within a week. Colette in the office then kept me in the loop and worked tirelessly to arrange a working date which fit to my schedule.

When the work started the contractors were polite and friendly. The standard of work was fantastic and they left my property spotless. Special shout out to Max, Lewis, Glen and Lou for their great work and dedication.
