We hired R & K Groundworks for our kitchen floor on 1930's property. We gave Joe at R & K and his team a scope of works to carry out to meet our project programme, excluding concrete finish. R & K are competitively priced, despite scheduling this job with short notice after we're cancelled by another company had booked for the job.
Joe is easy to contact, well organised - materials and skip arrived as he said they would. Joe introduced himself on starting work first thing and briefed his team (Steve and James) the scope of work. Steve and James worked very well, they introduced themselves on arrival and carried out their work to a high standard, included leaving the job tidy on completion. Joe was present throughout the day to check work was smooth running , he ensured additional materials and skip were needed, and arrived as soon as possible to not stop working.
I would highly recommend the team at R and K Groundworks, they are quality, reliable and fair priced!

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND**
Joe came out to price up the job, offered good advice and various options for me to chose from. No up-sell throughout the job only sensible suggestions I hadn't thought of, such as extra drainage!
All in all the job consisted of; bricking up a pedestrian gateway, knocking a wall down to create a vehicle entrance with gates, remove a heavily overgrown lawn, remove raised flower bed area, add drainage and block pave the previous lawn flower bed area.
Within five days, Joe and his team transformed an overgrown jungle into a gorgeous drive way, to say I'm pleased is a massive understatement. A few days later, bespoke gates fitted and the job completed.
A great bunch of hard-working pleasant lads who were a big hit with the neighbours. A credit to R & K.
R & K Groundworks were found to be professional and efficient throughout. I would have no hesitation recommending them to friends and family.
A few weeks have passed since the work was completed and I am still as happy as I was at day 1. Even with the appalling weather and heavy rains, no flooding or pooling....thanks Joe.

They came at 8am and left at 6pm! What more could you ask for? Joe came to measure up on the Sunday, started the job Tuesday and was all completed by 6pm the same day. The lads did a great job even tied up my stepping stones that was part of their job. Very professional and hard working. The left no mess behind even hosed down the old patio area and the drive too! If you want any ground work completing these are the ones. Thanks again for transforming our garden. We can’t wait to get you back to finish the next part of our plan next year! Thanks again.

Brilliant company. They delivered on exactly what they quoted and then some. From day one they were professional and reliable. For the first week of the job they had the typical British weather but that didn’t stop them from delivering the job ahead of schedule and exactly how we wanted it. They left the job tidy every day.
