Avant homes are a joke. When we first moved in I thought everything was great, you can’t fault their sales and px service but after care is shocking.

We have found numerous faults with our home, including needing a new front door and a new roof. Once you have completed your 8 weeks survey to nhbc they disappear off the face of the earth. They can’t even be bothered to acknowledge a complaint as per their published guidelines.

Anyone thinking of buying a house here should heed the advice of other buyers who have resorted to placing signs in windows. No matter how much sales do a good patter to pacify you like they did us, it’s just words. Yes the site managers lives on site but he clearly has no pride in his work or he would be ashamed to leave neighbours in the state some of these houses are in.

I wish we hadn’t bought our house, like many others. Not great when you have spent £450k !
