The Ransoms have just finished an extension on our house. They were recommended to us by someone else who had used them previously. I got several quotes for the work, and they were very competitive with their pricing. The work has been completed to an exceptional standard, with excellent communication throughout. All the people who came onto site were professional, polite and friendly. They followed the spec that we had agreed with the architect, but were also able to make design suggestions, with a very good eye for detail. They kept the site tidy, and ensured that disruption to the rest of the house was kept to a minimum as far as possible. Highly recommended, we already have them lined up for our next little project.

We cannot recommend too highly, an excellent job on a total rebuild They came recommended to us and have been superb at all elements of the work, managing the overall project, deliveries, other trades etc and keeping us well informed. They completed the build a month early and within budget. All the work has been to an excellent standard. Any issues that arose were dealt with quickly and they offered practical solutions when changes had to be made. Happy to be contacted to verify through the Karl or Sean.

Karl and team came to us to rip down a load bearing wall and remove and rebuild a roof. From day 1, I could see how professional, courteous and diligent Karl and team were, cleaning up as they went along and making sure everything was safe and tidy knowing we have young children and a dog. I cannot recommend them highly enough, their work is faultless, they are perfectionists and come up with great ideas to enhance your project. Dropping this rating, not because of the quality of their work, simply due to their aftercare/customer service. We've tried to get hold of the team to return to finish some work that was missed for ~10 months now, with many ignored messages and many ignored phone calls and voicemails. Sadly we are having to look for someone to finish that work and quote us for further work.

Karl and Sean Ransom were recommended to us and what a perfect recommendation they were. Open and honest about what we needed, on time, perfect work ethic and no problem was too much for them to overcome. They always had a solution and made us feel completely comfortable about the end result.
Our house was a 1950's that hadn't been touched since the 80's when we bought it. It had every type of problem. The result is transformational. Every idea they came up with was a positive way forward.

Karl came and saw the work to be done and took plans and spec of works. seemed a nice guy and said the quote would be a couple of weeks. That was in November 2020. Never heard another word despite chasing the quote and then a request to return our paper work.

These guys are certainly up there with the top builders in the area. Just inspect their brickwork. It says alot! Absolutely skill. No hesitation recommending this contractor.
