R-D Engineering are a customer focused business who will provide excellent service.
The first structural engineering company I contacted, I explained the issue we have. I offered to send details and photographs by email. The response I had was, before we go any further this is our fee. Not the response you are looking for.
I contacted R-D Engineering offering to send details and photographs. They asked me to email them. It did not take them long to come back with their assessment which proved my suspicions correct. If we had gone ahead and replaced this particular window it could have resulted the front of the building becoming unstable. Don't take chances, ask the question. R-D Engineering will provide excellent service without ripping you off.
I cannot praise them enough.

R-D Engineering was tasked to plan our house extension,Thomas the Engineer came round promptly measured up and provided us with two options a lantern roof or a pitched roof with veluxes,we then chose the pitched roof and our builder followed the plans brilliant and the result is fantastic. Went with RD-engineering based on the reviews. Dont be fooled! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Especially if your are smaller domestic project. You aren't important, Chris will reply to emails weeks later if at all. He was paid to come out and measure for a lintel, give load bearings and come up with a design. Gave Loadings, the measurements sent over for my lintel where completely wrong and didn't come up with a suitable solution to our lintel issue. Wouldn't use them again, I advise other to seek a more experienced company. RD-Amatuer hour.
