We would like to thank RD for our beautiful loft conversion.
We were recommended to contact RD by a good friend of our son’s who had recently had an extension to their property and couldn’t promote RD enough.
We had a rough idea of what we wanted but no real plan of how to achieve it. Paul, from RD, helped us to realise what was possible, how it was possible and what was required to get the ball rolling.
He produced working drawings, applied for and managed the planning permission (tricky as we are in a conservation area.)
RD worked as quietly and cleanly as possible (building work is always disruptive) and normal life continued in the rest of the property.
All the tradesmen used by RD, plumbers, carpenters and electricians were the quiet, confident and competent sort of people you want working on your property. It’s important to realise that RD have developed a network of contractors that are the best around. This network also extends to the supply of materials, no waiting around for anything, no road blocks to the schedule.
Planning and building inspection were involved at all stages of the build and RD worked with them professionally and constructively.
The builders themselves? They brought great ideas to the project, they worked onsite from start to finish (no disappearing to ‘other jobs’), they started at 8am prompt and never left before 4pm. They worked HARD.
Best of all they were fun to have around, many good laughs were had by all and when it was all over we had a lovely loft conversion.
Did I mention that they came in under budget? Unheard of ?
