I had extensive water damage in one room, exacerbated by the freeholder’s incompetence, so altogether a very stressful experience. I can’t fault the service provided by Right Build. They turned up when they said they would and did what they said they would do to restore the room. I was given good and clear advice on what needed to be done and the price was reasonable. Very happy with the service. An initial quote was given after a visit to discuss the project, and any changes were always discussed. The contractors did a great job and left my home clean afterwards. Can't fault this company!

Right Build were hired to renovate my property, which unfortunately did not go to plan. I initially met with the co-founder and communicated with the office manager in the pre-sales phase who appeared to be quite helpful and knowledgeable. I was advised our project would also be managed by the office manager from Right Build.

I later realised that Right Build are not a building company and simply contract out to other builders.

The builder assigned did not speak English well, which was a struggle when communicating decisions and challenges that were faced with the project. Also, with the lack of project management support, I was essentially on my own to manage the project.

The assigned builder also contracted out to other workers and when advising this to Right Build, were unaware of the people mentioned. This leads me to believe that Right Build do no form of vetting of the people doing the actual work and results in unskilled/unqualified people doing a bad job.

The builder and his team of people displayed a lack of experience in many aspects, which lead to:

• Kitchen being installed badly and not according to the supplied plan
• Shower leaking, which was repaired by the builder, however still leaked. A more experienced builder found the cause and has since fixed it.
• When moving an internal wall to extend the bathroom, the builder and his team cut through the roof lining, which caused a leak from the roof but he couldn’t figure out the cause
• Badly installed wood flooring
• Badly installed door linings, which has led to all of the internal doors being fitted wonky
• Damage to materials and materials going missing
• Poorly decorated
• Skirting boards fitted incorrectly
• Electrician's work is not up to code

None of the assigned jobs were completed in full and I had to stop works before any further issues were caused.

More issues are being discovered which Right Build team had caused and having to be rectified.

In summary, Right Build and the builder assigned were unqualified and inexperienced for my project.

The team at Right Build were fantastic from the start. From day one they were very considerate, keeping our place clean during the works. Communication was amazing and they were very patient and polite with our requests. The bathroom looks great-tiling, fittings etc all done brilliantly. I would not hesitate to use their services again!
