We can't recommend Royle Electrical Services highly enough! During the purchase of our first house back in March, my husband and I hired Austin to carry out an Electrical Installation Condition Report which highlighted a number of serious safety concerns. Subsequently, upon completion of our property purchase, we hired Austin to conduct a full rewire on the property.

Unfortunately due to the covid-19 pandemic and nationwide lockdown, we were unable to be in the property while the work was carried out. We were initially worried that this might lead to some complications along the way, but to our relief, Austin was the epitome of professional from the word go. He did an absolutely superb job under very trying circumstances, worked diligently and efficiently to carry out an immaculate replacement of our consumer unit, rewired our ground floor, first floor and loft conversion, even going to the extra effort of setting up additional circuits for future kitchen and garage renovations. Austin did all of this while providing us with photo and video updates of his progress, as well as checking in on the phone with us regularly, and always being open to our ideas and answer our questions.

Austin impressed us further by installing CAT-6 cables throughout our house, and despite not having been previously familiar with that process, he did his research and wound up doing a stellar job. We would never have known that he hadn't done the task before if he hadn't told us. But that's the kind of man Austin is, a very honest and amiable person, and a hardworking and knowledgeable electrician. I cannot begin to describe just how much we appreciate all his efforts, it meant the world to us to be kept in the loop so well during an unprecedented situation.

Hiring such a trustworthy, reliable and talented electrician such as Austin was stroke of luck and an enormous relief to us. We would hire him again in a heartbeat! We have now finally moved into our new home, and it feels especially wonderful to be able to use our lovely new flawless and safe electrical installation. Many thanks once more for all your hard work Austin, and we look forward to being able to hire you again in the future when we're ready to install our new kitchen.

PS: I read the guys review about Mr Royle not refitting a carpet properly. Just a guess....... he's an ELECTRICIAN not a carpet fitter! Perhaps you should lift and refit your own carpets when you get a tradesman in?

Austin was recommended by a neighbour. Austin replaced a 30+year old consumer unit and tested the entire house wiring. He was extremely thorough and his work (and subsequent written report) are of the highest quality. As he is also a very nice gentleman, I have no problem in recommending him for any electrical work you may need doing.
