I would absolutely recommend Richard and team. We wanted a bathroom refit in our Victorian house with some additional works to adjoining rooms including radiators and electrics. From previous experience we suspected that this would reveal structural problems. From the beginning Richard worked with us, listened to our concerns and provided detailed quotes. Once work started and revealed the expected issues he explained the problems and our options clearly and honestly so we could make decisions. Work was done to a very high standard, excellent attention to the details, and while keeping the house as clean and tidy as possible! The team were no problem to have around, strongly recommend.

Richard and Joe have done a fantastic job for us. They have moved our kitchen completely from one part of the house to another, then changing the old kitchen into a downstairs toilet/shower room and a utility room. This was done by them with great ease. They have completed the work to the highest standard, and with minimum disruption to us. Their advice on what to do, what to have and where to put things has been invaluable for someone like myself who is not good at making decisions! They were here every day without fail, and as other clients have no doubt said, their working area is kept extremely clean and tidy. We are so pleased with our new rooms, and would not hesitate to recommend RS Aston Builders to anyone else.

We recently had a new kitchen fitted by RS Aston Builders. We were anxious about having such a big job done as there always seems to be some issues with the house! However, Richard, Joe and Tom were so professional, and nothing seemed to be a problem. Richard spent a long time going through all the options with us when we were designing and choosing our kitchen. He was always quick with responses if I emailed him any queries and gave such great advice when we were considering options. The quote that Richard sent me was very detailed which was great to see and make any changes required.

When the work started Richard, Joe and Tom were so considerate of our working from home. There were some issues with the house along the way, but Richard made me feel confident in their work and they sorted any problems out seamlessly. At the end of each day they cleared, cleaned and tidied the area in which they were working. Richard sent interim, detailed invoices along the way which we really appreciated.

The detail to the work that they have carried out is amazing. We are so pleased with our kitchen – it’s the best room in the house now! As well as being so professional, Richard, Joe and Tom are so friendly – I’ll miss them!

Richard and the team have done a fantastic job renovating our 60s property to a modern mid century feel bringing it back to a conditional that’s probably better than when it was new.

Having so much work needed doing at once was daunting but Richard planned and arranged every aspect of our bathroom and kitchen which included gutting downstairs.

The structural work to combine the kitchen dinner and install a large feature window have transformed the space making it hard to believe they’re the same rooms.

We really appreciate the attention to detail the team takes which makes the space a joy to use day to day, the work has totally transformed the way we live in our home.

They were incredibly conscientious throughout the project and consistently checked that we were happy with the work already completed. Complete design and refurbishment of shower room in February 2023.
When it came to the design and refurbishment of our shower room we chose to employ R S Aston Builders knowing them to be a local and trusted builder. From our first meeting with Richard Aston to discuss the project it was clear to us that Richard not only had an excellent technical knowledge of the work required but was a person who clearly listened to the client, as to their preferred fittings and colour scheme.
The work was carried out by Richard, Joe and Luke and the quality of the workmanship and professionalism was excellent.
We are exceedingly pleased with the new shower room that was completed in February 2023 and would highly recommend R S Aston Builders.
