I couldn't recommend Gavin and his team at Rutland Builders more. They managed my house renovation from chimney pots to drainpipes. The whole team were fantastic. Nothing was too big a problem, the job was finished on time and the standard of workmanship was excellent. Definitely 5 stars.

Gav and his wonderful team built us the extension of our dreams. It was started on the date given (we were happy to wait 9 months for them to become available) and was completed the week that was intended, 7 months later. The team attended every single day, there was no waiting for other contractors to attend. Gav project managed everything from day 1 until the finish date. The team were honestly a joy to have around; their professionalism, good humour and skill was wonderful. I missed them for ages after they left! All the snagging was done, quickly, without issue and Gav was always responsive to any call, at any time. We did not have any issues at all and we have no hesitation in recommending Rutland Builders for any job; large or small. Don't go anywhere else.

Gav and his team at Rutland Builders did a fantastic job in building our Kitchen extension. We had a number of complex elements in our design which they managed perfectly. We also had a number of problems (for example the surprises we found when digging foundations!) that Gav managed amazingly; working so well with architects, planning, building control etc. to ensure everyone was happy and there were no delays!

We will use Gav and his team again without hesitation on our next renovation.

Gavin, Craig and the teams supported us through a large extension build over 6 months in length. The results are amazing and we could not have envisaged the end product and incredible finish we have today. We could not recommend Rutland Builders/Carpenters highly enough, their warmth throughout, evident in all onsite and offsite teams was superb. If you are lucky enough to attract them to your project, ensure you look after them with good tea, coffee and the odd bacon sandwich for those cold wet days.

Rutland Builders provided a high quality service with excellent workmanship and attention to detail.
We were kept well informed of the planned work and the projected timescale at various stages.
Rutland dealt with unforeseen problems (e.g. drains) very well, and handled minor alterations with the consideration and a minimum of fuss.
Throughout the build the site was very tidily maintained and at the finish the area was cleared and re-shingled, and the skip removed within a day.
The principal craftsman was highly skilled, very approachable and for him nothing was too much trouble.
The whole project was certainly not cheap, but the overall finish was well worth the outlay.
We would certainly recommend Rutland Builders for any building works.
