Sam and his team are legends!.Sam came out last night at 8pm to a mercy call and had his team here at 9am to fix a problem that United Utilities couldn’t/wouldn’t fix.Excellent tradesmen,great team and professional from start to finish.Ive no hesitation in getting Sam and his team out to do other jobs!.

This is the third time we’ve used Sam Hurst Construction, and it’s safe to say we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The first two jobs were smaller projects—a new front wall and bathroom tiling—but Sam and his team delivered such exceptional service that we knew we had to call him for our kitchen renovation.

We ordered the kitchen from Wren and unfortunately had a terrible experience with them, so we decided to entrust the entire project to Sam. It was absolutely the right choice, as working with one point of contact rather than multiple contractors made everything so much smoother.

When Sam came to assess the job, he suggested removing an old chimney breast that would’ve looked out of place. It was a brilliant idea—it’s opened up the space and allowed us to fit more cupboards than we originally thought possible.

I also work from home and mentioned to Sam that I was considering converting our garage into an office and playroom. True to form, he said it was no problem, and he handled the entire conversion as part of the same project. The result is fantastic—it’s transformed how we use our home.

Throughout the process, Sam’s team have been nothing short of amazing. They’re efficient, friendly, and always happy to provide updates or answer questions. Even when Sam went on holiday, I was still receiving daily updates from him, showing his dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly. He coordinated with contractors while away, and thanks to his meticulous planning, the house is on track to be finished in time for Christmas.

The original plan was to have everything (apart from decorating) completed by Saturday, December 21st. However, Sam went above and beyond by arranging for the painting and decorating to be finished just two days before Christmas. Now, our kitchen, office, and playroom will be completely finalized in time for Christmas.

Whether it’s a small project like a wall or something as ambitious as a full house renovation, no job is too big or small for Sam. His attention to detail and commitment to his clients set him apart.

We already have plans for 2025 to add a new porch, path, and rendering to give our house the perfect finishing touches, and we wouldn’t dream of using anyone other than Sam. If you want your home in safe, capable hands, Sam Hurst Construction is the company to use.

Friendly and professional service provided by Sam from initial quote to completion . The bricklayer rebuilding our front wall was extremely skilled to the extent that he was constantly stopped by passers by giving him compliments on his work ! Since completion a neighbour has also commissioned Sam to rebuild their wall ; would highly recommend .

From the start, Sam and his team were professional, efficient, and meticulous in their work. They kept the site tidy and worked diligently to meet the agreed timeline.
