What a great local company, incredibly helpful and very friendly.
Part of my car seat frame had broken, and having stripped it all out, a compatible part was £80 + postage, and reading feedback reviews, they seemed inconsistent in quality, and an original part was not an option, either new or second hand.
Nick (Gilbert) one of the owners took a look at the bracket, asked me to leave it with them, and although they were very busy, 48 hours later I dropped in to pick it up.
It was a perfect job, and having welded myself some years ago, whomever did the actual welding really knew his job, in fact it was neater than the original weld, and he had reinforced it as well.
Nick charged me less than half the compatible, so not only did I have the original (reinforced) part which fitted straight in, but he saved me money as well.
If you have any welding/fabrication work, I can without doubt recommend Sawford Engineering on professionalism, quality and value for money.

BTW - I asked about the one negative review they had, and it was some idiot that they did not know, let alone had done any work for .. the lack of actual written feedback says it all - so just ignore that.
