Shaun and his team recently built our garden room, and we are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Right from our first meeting, Shaun was approachable, listened carefully to our ideas, and gave helpful suggestions that improved the overall design. He also gave us tips on how to save money.

Throughout the build, Shaun was reliable, punctual, and kept us informed at every stage. His craftsmanship is outstanding. Every detail of the garden room has been finished to a very high standard, and it is clear he takes real pride in his work.

Shaun was also fantastic at handling last minute requests. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he truly has the ethos of wanting us to be happy clients. That made the whole process feel collaborative and stress free.

Shaun and his team were very respectful of our garden, kept everything tidy, and minimised disruption. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the new space has completely changed how we use our garden.

Shaun and his team are fantastic and I would recommend them without a doubt. The weekly meetings we had with Shaun to discuss what work has been done and what lies ahead were very helpful to put our minds at ease that the project is moving swiftly along.

Shaun and the boys moved in on 31 October 2022 and were out by May 2023. There was always someone on site which we could speak to and if we needed to problem solve, someone always had a great idea.

Throughout the project we need to make some changes and these were never impossible, too late or too difficult to do.

We’ve had a few extra jobs lined up which were also completed by Shaun.

The whole process from quote to completion has been a smooth and professional one. Shaun is very attentive and approachable and has been on site every day to check progress and talk us through each step of the build. This attitude extends to his staff and sub-contractors who have followed the same helpful and friendly approach. The end product a very high quality building that we are delighted with.

Shaun and the SGCS Team completed a ground and first floor extension and entire renovation of our whole home this year.

After meeting Shaun at quote and planning stage we were really impressed. We decided to wait 15 months for him to be available which was a tough decision! Now it’s done we know it was 100% worth the wait.

All the way through the project Shaun and his guys were excellent. Nothing was ever a problem and any issues or changes we wanted to make throughout were handled with ease. They always arrived when they said they would and were flexible with things throughout. Shaun made some great suggestions which really improved some of our ideas.

Special mention to Simon and Mark who were really great and treated the finishing like it was their own home.

Shaun’s project management and approach took so much stress out of the process for us and we really trusted it was going to end up how we wanted it. The project was completed on time and within our budget.

This guy and his amazing team, helped build my vision for the world’s 1st hybrid football arena at Addlestone One, Surrey.

It was incredible how Shaun listened, advised and built the most incredible football arena, completing the project for us after a false start with the previous guys.

Shaun and the team came highly recommended. They certainly have lived up to that billing. SGCS started our extension in January as planned and as we are close to finishing off I thought it would be a good time offer a review of their work.
For the first 2 months things progressed brilliantly. We probably did not make things easy for Shaun by deciding to live in during the build, but this was no problem. In fact, nothing was a problem. Week by week the guys moved things to a new part of the house, always maintaining the basics....heat, water, electricity and most importantly TV and Wifi for the kids.
What could possibly go wrong? Firstly we found some asbestos, but Shaun still managed to maintain work in other parts of the house whilst the removal was arrange. Then Covid hit. This was when they really demonstrated why they are so highly rated. Those things that could be done continued, but inevitably things came to a halt as materials became difficult to get.
The guys never arrived late, in fact they were often on site at 7.30am getting ready to start at 8am. They did their upmost to tidy at the end of the day and battle to keep dust levels to the lowest level was really appreciated. The work ethic was brilliant. You hear horror stories about builders, but SGCS were a credit to Shaun and themselves at all times.
We have 2 young children and there was never a concern regarding leaving anything dangerous that they could injure themselves on. We would welcome any of the team back in to our house in the future. They tolerated us being there more that we anticipated as we worked form home during the lockdown and after.
Shaun seemed to have an uncanny way of knowing what we wanted and advised on the best way to achieve this. He also managed to save money on some of things that we did not really need, or could do for a better price. Ceiling were raised to make room bigger on his recommendation, hallway widened and living room arch reduced to enlarge room all on Shaun's advice.
Shaun has someone for every job. Tiling, window shutters, flooring, etc. It was so nice to see them enjoying their work every day.
I think the biggest compliment we can give is that, other than covid, we would not have changed anything.
We have got an unbelievable house at the end of it. If there is anything that needs doing to it in future Shaun will be the first person we contact.
The most important lesson I have learnt over the last 7 months is not to do a large house extension during a global pandemic......but if you really have to make sure Shaun and the SGCS team are the ones that do it for you!!!

We’ve just finished a full house renovation with Shaun and his team and had a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I can’t recommend SGCS highly enough. They really have delivered us our dream home! They are very professional, always arriving on time and working hard while also being very flexible when needed. It was an absolute pleasure to have them at the house. The whole team were so polite and friendly doing anything they could to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Shaun also made lots of brilliant suggestions that have made a real difference like flaring our skylight and adding pocket doors to create more space. I had complete confidence in him and his team throughout which is such a huge thing when you’re trusting them to build your forever family home. I can’t imagine that we’ll ever move now but if we do we wouldn’t use anyone else to do the work. Thanks so much Shaun and the whole team!
