I've used SGH going on 4 years now and we have done numerous projects varying from small 1 bedroom flats getting a turnover all the way up to 5 bed houses getting massive renovation and structural works. Stuart has always been consistent, punctual, good at communication and fair with us. Their quality of workmanship is excellent hence why we have continued and will continue to use them for our projects. Highly recommend.

This company took my call first time, was able to sort out a joiner to hang doors within short notice. Stuart was great at communicating to organise and Paul the joiner did a great job hanging the doors. Professional and friendly throughout and reasonable prices. Would recommend!

I called Stuart to give me a quote for a full refurbishment and modernisation of a terraced house that I was in the process of buying . Whilst the conveyancing did not go to plan and there was a major issue with an illegal extension and both parties withdrew from the sale , I found Stuart brilliant in that I booked an appointment with him to come and view the house with me and discuss what was required . Stuart turned up on time and as booked. He produced a very detailed quote for me quickly and was very willing to discuss any necessary amendments or changes . Despite, at the time, being very very busy with other jobs. He was able to book a date to start, sadly through the busy conveyancing period after covid there were some delays, which proved no problem for Stuart when I had to cancel the original start date. And the major issue regarding an illegal extension which made the house a no go for the mortgage company resulting in a no sale . In which I had to cancel Stuart and his team , hopefully giving good notice . I found Stuart compared to other firms very responsive , extremely helpful and professional and motivated, unlike other firms who did not bother to get back to me or send in quotes or where very negative in response to call outs for quotes. I would recommend SGH joinery purely on the response to my initial inquiry . I have the work carried out looks excellent on the firm's facebook page and would have no hesitating in saying get in touch with a very professional firm.i am in the process of looking for another property and hope to be contacting Stuart again for help.
