Scott Wilkinson was fantastic when it came to planning our reconfiguration. We had a chance to consider several designs and there was very clear guidance on building regs&planning permission. There was great administrative communication from Katharine and when a small issue popped up before the project started, Scott was on hand to reassure us! We are very pleased with the end result - there are definitely aspects that we had not considered initially but with Scott's expert advice, we were able to make the most of the existing features and stay within budget!

Scott recently produced excellent plans for our bungalow extension. He came up with some great ideas in order to provide us with the best use of both the existing space and the additional space to be created. Scott also liaised with the local Planning Department and worked with them to produce an amended design. It was definitely not an easy road to achieve planning approval (for a number of reasons beyond Scott's control) but without him we are sure we would not have reached that point. Scott remained thorough and professional at all times and we would not hesitate to recommend him or to use him again in the future.

We were recommended Scott from friends of ours. After a brief phone call to him, he attend our house on time and at a time that was convenient to us. He was polite and friendly. During our initial meeting we explained what we would like, and he explained about him and his company, and the services he offers. There was no pushy sales tactics, in fact quite the opposite. He made my wife and I feel very at ease. Once we agreed to work with him a few days later, he came back and measured up, and asked further detailed questions in regards to our ideas and specs. Only a week or so later, he returned with plans! They were fabulous and were above and beyond what we had thought of! He was also open to slight tweeks and suggestions. We agreed the plans, and then Scott submitted the planning application on our behalf. The plans were successful and we are now ready to build our new extension. Scott has kept in contact all the way through and answered all my emails and responded quickly. Great person, very knowledgeable and would have no hesitation in recommending him to family / friends or indeed anyone!

Having never undertaken work like this before, we wanted some help but were nervous about the process and even if the job was big enough to warrant an architect however having Scott to produce drawings, ideas and to discuss the process has been very helpful. Scott has been an Amazing architect and designed our home and communicated our points with the planning office very well.

This time last year I was in the same position as many of you reading and I was researching architects to design my home. I had researched all of these online reviews, rating sites and friends and family recommendations. I had also met most of them! I made the decision to go ahead with Scott.

( Also it is important to bear in mind when you are comparing and choosing a person to build your home/ extension- Is the person an actual chartered Architect or technician? If it’s a large firm- is the actual lead architect going to be doing the drawings?!)

We have now used Scott numerous times for a few different projects. Each time Scott was able to make suggestions which were practical when things wouldn’t fit into the correct area or space we had and was open to suggestions too after giving us many different ideas from our thoughts.
