Stuart has been fantastic and informative throughout the whole process, taking on board our (very specific) ideas due to the weird layout and shape of our house, and providing an excellent final design that we are excited to implement in our home. He has been a patient and effective guide to the process from designing the project (extension), getting planning permission, directing me on how to get other required legal approvals, and reaching the point where I can get builders to create the plans he made, knowing that everything has been properly addressed.
From the start I knew what his costs were likely to be but also a good idea about the other additional expenses outside his role - structural engineer, drains survey, Council and water company fees etc.
I could not have asked for more. It's been a relief to find someone who can do great design but also understands the other processes to manage the arrangements for our home improvements.
