We have just had our loft conversion done by Smiths of Bromley and I can't recommend them enough! Every one who worked on our house was polite, professional and excellent at their job. The owner Terrence explained everything at the time, took measurements and sketched out ideas in our first meeting, unlike others who had quoted. He would check over things and was regularly touching base to ensure everything was ok and we were happy. The finish and quality of work is second to none. We would happily recommend them to anyone thinking of getting their loft done.

We are having a loft conversion built by Smiths of Bromley and all I can say is that they are a wonderful company. Each and every person we have dealt with has been incredible. From the initial call with Tyler, to the consultation with Terry has been a wonderful experience. Their workmanship is of a very high standard, Tom and Cam are very hard working and extremely collaborative which makes things so much easier. I was worried about how the building work would disrupt our home but Terry assured me that the disruption would be minimal and i couldn't agree more. Every stage of the project has been completed on time as promised by Smiths and i would highly recommend this company.

Very pleased with the loft build and excellent team, would recommend! Loft build itself was very swift, with good communication and works completed to a high standard. Special thanks to Terry, Danny and Martyn for helpful suggestions and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Polite, professional and the site kept clean, with rubbish regularly removed by Terry. We also had various works completed by the team in almost every other room in the house. While we had to wait a bit for this to be completed, we’re very happy with the results and big thanks to John, Martyn, Chad and Spencer for their efforts!

I couldn’t recommend Terry and his team more. They were recommended to us by a friend and we are so thankful! Professional, polite, efficient. The job started on time and ran ahead of schedule all the way through. We were completed in 7 weeks, which was amazing!

The way the team all fit in together is like a well oiled machine. Terry was always visible throughout the build and we had an amazing Project Manager, Martyn, who also completed all the carpentry. Danny and Dan were fantastic, honestly the whole team were, you will not be disappointed if you use Smiths!

Smiths of Bromley recently undertook a loft conversion for us. We chose the company following a friend’s recommendation and have not been disappointed.
Right from the start Terry was knowledgeable and easy to deal with, providing a detailed written quotation, then guiding us through the planning and design process.
The bedroom and shower room are a good size and height and we are really pleased with the new wooden staircase and Juliet balcony. The curved red tiles fitted along the top of our roofline are a really nice added detail.
The project was sequenced very smoothly and all the work completed by the team from the first fix builders and roofers, through to the plasterers, plumber, tiler, carpenter and electricians was of a very high standard.
All in all, we found the whole team professional, friendly and reliable and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

They provide a seamless service, including the design / drawings from Frank the architect and scaffolding.

All of Terry’s tradesman have been working with Smith’s for years, they are all efficient, professional, local tradesman from the area. I could not fault any of them and would highly recommend each of them.

Smiths also allocate a dedicated project manager, who is available to offer support and advice throughout. His attention to detail and perfection was amazing.

The project was completed ahead of schedule, despite several lost days due to snow. Smiths Of Bromley complete the project seamlessly like a well oiled machine.

Terry is always available and is often on site through the week to support and answer any queries.

As a result, Smiths of Bromley are extremely busy but without question worth waiting for.

Great team of builders! Team are all experts in their trade, organised well by Terry and all extremely polite and used to working together. They transformed our roof and built us a beautiful loft bedroom and en-suite bathroom while working hard to keep our home clean and tidy throughout the project. We are fussy/ anxious customers and the whole team always ensured we were happy and kept our minds at ease.

- Quote & contract were swiftly arranged by Tyler. All questions answered and no pressure applied to proceed
- First fix to build new dormer and new roof were fitted in a matter of weeks by Tom & Cam who were very polite, kept us warm & watertight and listened to any requests we had
- Plumbing & Electrics were swiftly sorted by Chad & his team and Spencer all offering very useful suggestions
- All new Fire Doors, skirtings & Architraves were installed by Martyn
- John plastered all the new areas quickly and smoothly although his singing does need a bit of work
- Simon tiled the bathroom to our spec and like all others was great to have on our project
- All the waste was regularly picked up and removed from our driveway meaning our home didn’t have piles of rubbish around

Big thanks to all of the team, highly rate them for building projects, and my wife really appreciated how tidy they all were! No wonder they have done so many lofts in the area and constantly busy!
