John Slater, project manager, visited the site regularly and kept us fully informed of developments. He and his team have, at all times, been professional, friendly and considerate. We are delighted with our new garden room and extended patio.

SSB were overall a good team, there work is thorough and good quality and they didn’t rush anything. Carpentry and Groundworks teams particularly good. Management was a mainly absentee boss, who slows the process and his other company that makes the windows was poor, and as they came from London caused no end of delays. Hopefully they have sorted that side out now. However there was a really strong new project manager John Slater who I would highly recommend and saved the build - overall they are pleasant friendly team, and we would use them again.

We had scaffolding put up on the front and rear elevations. Both roof valleys were stripped and new fibreglass valley boards were laid. I was impressed and am happy to leave this 5 star review.

Mike and the team carried out some major works on my property via NHBC. We have all heard the nightmare anecdotes about using "builders" but none of these apply to SSB. Mike took me through the work to be done and was professional, courteous(...and patient) throughout. From the moment I handed over the keys I was confident they would do a great job and I was right. Everything they said would be done was done, on time and with great attention to detail. the keys were then returned with the work done to a high spec and the house deep cleaned top to bottom. Before choosing a builder I recommend you speak to these guys. I would not use anyone else.

Scaffolding erected around large rear dormer. Dormer decking removed and replaced. New liquid DPM fitted to dormer roof. All in all a job well done. Many thanks.
