I have hired specSF for geotechnical engineering, structural services, field testing, and inspections. Specialty Engineering are engineers that care, which is very rare in this industry. The house shown here started with their geotechnical engineering services, then full structural AND pool plans, field testing for the concrete pours, site visit on request when I had an issue, and their team supported our project the whole way. Highly recommend!!

I have been working with Speciality Engineering for over 6 years now from quick next day inspections to extremely drawn out nightmare projects. Sam and Matt do a phenomenal job at getting plans back to us in roughly 48 hours turn around time and if there is a hiccup Adam is always willing to step up and guide us. Everyone in their office is eager and willing to help, and I would highly recommend SPEC to anyone needing thorough engineers in the South Florida region.

Because of the tragic Surfside building collapse in the summer of 2021 and the resulting new legislation that followed (SB 4-D), it became a ‘front-burner’ issue to our unit owners, that the required 30 year milestone building inspection be performed sooner, rather than later. The legislation allowed for the inspection to be performed by either a registered architect or a certified engineer. We opted to contact SPEC. The scheduling and clerical duties were promptly and efficiently arranged by Abby, in their front office and easily able to be coordinated with our Board of Directors and our property management company. Mark was able to complete the thorough and comprehensive inspection in a single day. Details on materials and processes necessary to remedy minor deficiencies were also given to us in a clear and concise report that accompanied our sealed certification letter. Our Association members couldn’t have been more satisfied with the resulting report and certification we were given and they rest easy knowing only minor issues were found and the need to move on to phase II of SB 4-D was deemed unnecessary. Many thanks to the team at SPEC for helping us through this necessary inspection process and for giving us the detailed tools and instruction necessary to remedy even the small stuff.
