This gentleman is a rare find. I've had a lot of experience with different tradespeople over the years and none compare in terms of friendlyness efficiency and professionalism. I can pretty much say that for the first time ever I actually felt heard, and that SSC carpentry knew exactly what I wanted and was able to fulfill the task without any hiccups.... and an obvious devotion to his work. This is the easiest five stars I've ever given!!

I am so glad I found Steve who has done two jobs for me now. The first one was to insert intumescent strips into my front door for current fire regulations compliance. This was a heavy Georgian door and he managed it carefully and re-aligned it in the process.
The second job was to repair my shed that was damaged in the storm a few weeks ago, replacing timber and roofing felt that had been blown off. He painted replacement timber too. Two very good jobs done, by such a lovely reliable person.
