A beautifully kept building from the outside, the gardens were extraordinary, too. I was visiting Brian Boru's gravesite, and it didn't disappoint. The plaque is well maintained, and the information is on point. I gave it four stars because the cathedral was shut in the middle of the day. The organ was playing, but there was no explanation or note outside. I wanted to spend a little time in the cathedral. Pity. But it would have been five stars except for this. P.S. The Sheela-na-gig was a surprise and breathtaking.

Incredible cathedral. We were amazed by the beauty and majesty of it. Great location with stunning views. I could not visit the inside because it was close and I could not find anywhere opening times.
Will come back for sure for a new visit.

Beautiful Church of Ireland cathedral in Armagh city, centrally located on a hill. The cathedral is closed at the moment due to covid restrictions, but you can still walk around the grounds and walled gardens. The walled gardens are a hidden gem and a perfect place to sit for reflection or to take your lunch break.

Grat history and historical location. The home of Brian Boru's final resting place. Both building and surrounding grounds and walked gardens are beautifully kept and worth walking and a look.

More like a war memorial than a church. Many monuments, flags etc that are military related in contrast to the catholic church on the other hill which has beautiful artwork dedicated to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Mary and the saints.
