We engaged Caroline Wright to re-model the ground floor space of our detached home in Hove. She saw the potential in the space immediately and managed to make our kitchen bigger without extending (instead pushing a wall back). She encouraged us to think about how we live and what we need from our space rather than just doing what everyone else is doing. Caroline and her team were responsive to our ideas and incorporated the good ones and gently nudged us away from the bad ones.
Caroline's drawings are very thorough which made us think about seemingly little things like positions of sockets and switches early on in the process which made the build much easier.
Once the project started, we engaged Caroline for seven hours of project management time on an ad hoc basis which was really helpful as a safety net during the project. I highly recommend Caroline and her team.

Stickland Wright took our nondescript, poorly converted, single storey building and turned it into a spectacular contemporary home.

We considered numerous architects but Nick Stickland was the one who we really felt totally understood our vision; a house filled with light and a sense of space, that made the most of its woodland setting. Not only did he take our ideas and make them manifest, he came up with some fabulous solutions to difficult spaces, that we could never have considered. He didn’t just create space and light, he created drama.  We could not have asked for more. We absolutely love our home and will always be grateful to Nick for helping create it.
