We initially asked Tommy to design us an extension to our house in Eastbourne to provide a dining space next to our existing kitchen. He came up with loads of great layout options for us to choose from. These also included some which resisted the urge to extend and instead make the kitchen and living room space we already had work harder and more efficiently. We'd never thought of doing this and just assumed extending would be best. By removing some walls and rejigging the ground floor plan, we were able to achieve the main aims of our brief without the need to build out. We're so thrilled with the outcome, as the ground floor flows so much better. It was also much more cost effective to do this and we were able to put some of our budget for the extension into improving other areas of the house such as a new kitchen and bathrooms, redecoration and landscaping. We're so happy with the outcome. Stoney Studio was brilliant to work with and I felt that Tommy had our best interests at heart when working for us.

We hired Stoney Studio to help us get planning permission for a two storey extension to our house in Barnack. He gave us a free consultation to go through our brief and budget (over his famous flat whites!). Once appointed, he put together multiple options and their estimated build costs for us to choose from. Tommy was great in guiding us through the process, especially as it was our first time taking something like this on. His knowledge and experience really helped us make informed decisions and enabled us to achieve our hopes for our family home. He also brought many clever ideas of his own to the project, including some which saved us money! The planning application and process was handled by Tommy completely. His communication with the planners was excellent and kept us updated on progress throughout - it all went smoothly. The additional natural light and space is amazing...we now just need to go furniture shopping!! 100% recommend Stoney Studio - thank you Tommy.
